“Was only in here one time for a sub, but I hear the pizza is amazing too. The sub was excellent and did not skimp on anything. The owner was incredibly nice and even offered to deliver the sub to the vehicle if i wanted. I chose to wait in the store and the ladies in the back were cheerful and were having a good time working. Now, I just need to order a pizza! You cant go wrong with this place, very nice folks, the food is good and the price is reasonable!”

“This a little gold mine in the middle of nowhere. Everything you could need and open for some great hours. You won't be able to do your weekly/monthly grocery shopping but why would you need to? Twin Lakes Grocery can keep you supplied on an as needed basis. The best purpose is for the "oops!" We ran outta beer or pop. Once you're there, then you'll forget you needed to pickled baloney or a deli sandwich or a slab of cheese. The last time I went, they were putting in a small kitchen. I can't wait to see what's in store for all of us remote customers. Maybe pizza delivery? Ooh, that would be cool”

“I'm glad that places like this still exist. I needed fuel and only had cash. I went inside and asked to fill up on pump 8. The person waiting on me looked at the machine and said it's at $0. Quizzically, I said yes, I haven't fueled up yet. They said, go fuel up and come back in to pay. I appreciate Northern Michigan businesses like this!”

“WOW. State minimum price plus $.25, but the real reason why you come here, is the customer service. Just another example of why you should support local small businesses rather than big box stores. The female/owner? went above and beyond to deliver the best customer service possible and even (I can't promise she'll do this for you) helped carry some of my items out to my car. I compared the prices to Walmart and some things were even cheaper! About as good as it gets!”

“Next Door Store is a great stop. The A/C is SO awesome on hot days. There are lunch items you can heat in their microwave, atm, lottery scratch off serve yourself machine or grab the ticket at the counter. Staff is always friendly!”

“Can you say donuts?!? They are crisp on the outside, chewy on the inside and come in oh, so many flavors! I've only been here in the Fall but it is my go to place when I'm in the area. They say the pizza is good too but I've lucked out. The business is seasonal and as I'm here at the end of the season, the hours fluctuate. I'll try again next year.”
