“When my wife and I purchased a building in Cassopolis and moved our businesses here we wanted to work with a local bank. GW Jones Bank was very friendly and easy to work with both in financing our building and doing a refi on our home. They were a bit higher but still very competitive in their rates, but the wonderful local service far outweighs the difference. When an issue arose with a mortgage lender they use, they immediately stepped in and made it right. How nice it is to simply make a phone call and have a problem resolved without spending frustrating days and weeks of calls, e-mails, and letters!In addition to being a wonderful banker, branch manager Billie Hires is also the local chamber of commerce president and contributes much to both the local business community as well as the community as a whole.It's great having a local bank where all of the staff know us by name.”
