I’ve been in this business for minor things, but this time I needed a new car battery. I had called around the day before looking for a car battery. I chose Great Lakes Battery based off the price, the 6 year warranty, it being a local, small business and their In God We Trust sign. The best part is the service was fast and the two employees that were working there at that time-Kayla and Brogan. Both employees were efficient and friendly. I had hardly finished paying and my car was complete.

“Let's start off by saying; there's no comparison to you guys to autozone. I went to autozone and this manager. She wasn't too friendly to deal with the first time. She claimed when I went there this morning prior to you guys that she doesn't allow her techs to do anything to vehicles. She had an attitude. I'm like wow. I went next door and one of your workers there by the name of mike, not only took the time to assist, my situation came out to my vehicle and did whatever he possibly could to make sure. It wasn't my manifold and then checked where my air filter was. To Make sure everything was on tight. Then he came back and got the gauge. Hooked it up to my vehicle. But Frank came outside, saw the problem, then went inside and came back with the missing part- and then changed the tire himself! “Went into the Royal Oak Michigan store for wiper blades. The fella who helped me was very friendly and helpful. The computer was showing different sizes so he went outside and removed mine. Compared to the recommended ones and found I had the wrong size on the car. He went back out and installed them for me. A fine experience.”

Between MJ, Shay, Craig, Corvette and Don going above and beyond what they are required of is a great blessing to the community, culture and corporation at large. This is my go-to parts supplier even though it is possible to get cheaper prices the lower quality and lack of a reasonable warranty is cause enough for not trying to save a few pennies upfront and save money in the long-term ownership of your vehicle.”
“If you're procrastinating on getting new wiper blades, freezing rain will absolutely remind you it's time. That being said, I quickly found my way to O'Reillys. Looked up what I needed on that computer thing near the blades, had a small panic at the cost and made my way to the counter. I was greeted with a warm smile by Robert. Who set me up with with a loyalty number and gently told me that there were some better (less ridiculously expensive) choices available. Found the best wiper blades for my Jeep and also had some great advice on product choices on the last minute "can you grab this" from my husband. Robert then came out without hesitation in the freezing rain and put them on for me. Exemplary service. Extremely knowledgeable. This man definitely deserves a raise. Thank you”

So if your hands are full then you have to put your items down, hold the door open with your foot, then exit . Bummer!
