I arrived at the store and Tammy and Emanuel were also a great assistance. Although I didn't purchase the battery I felt that these 3 offered excellent human-to-human customer service. I’ve been in this business for minor things, but this time I needed a new car battery. I had called around the day before looking for a car battery. I chose Great Lakes Battery based off the price, the 6 year warranty, it being a local, small business and their In God We Trust sign. The best part is the service was fast and the two employees that were working there at that time-Kayla and Brogan. Both employees were efficient and friendly. I had hardly finished paying and my car was complete.

My battery was available same-day and when I went to pick it up, the clerk had great guidance on how to use and maintain it to maximize its life. “Let's start off by saying; there's no comparison to you guys to autozone. I went to autozone and this manager. She wasn't too friendly to deal with the first time. She claimed when I went there this morning prior to you guys that she doesn't allow her techs to do anything to vehicles. She had an attitude. I'm like wow. I went next door and one of your workers there by the name of mike, not only took the time to assist, my situation came out to my vehicle and did whatever he possibly could to make sure. It wasn't my manifold and then checked where my air filter was. To Make sure everything was on tight. Then he came back and got the gauge. Hooked it up to my vehicle. For it to potentially be the oxygen 2 sensor so I want to take the time to thank Mike. In O'reilly's. You guys did a great job!!! Phoney on Auto Zone.”

“I cannot say enough good things about the guys at this store, especially Frank! My friend and I got a flat on Woodward and went there, only to find my Jack was missing some parts. But Frank came outside, saw the problem, then went inside and came back with the missing part- and then changed the tire himself! I now have a working Jack and was able to get where I was going, all because of Frank- this guy was kind and helpful and he deserves a raise!”

“Wess was very helpful after 3 stops to autozone they got me the wrong part each time and the right part number on the box but different part number on the actual part well wess took his time to clean the original axle seal off to see the part number and to make sure i got the right axle seal i will definitely be coming here for now on i could've saved so much time thank you wess ( assistant manager)”
“Went into the Royal Oak Michigan store for wiper blades. The fella who helped me was very friendly and helpful. The computer was showing different sizes so he went outside and removed mine. Compared to the recommended ones and found I had the wrong size on the car. He went back out and installed them for me. A fine experience.”

“My absolute favorite location in Southeastern Michigan. The only sales associates that I look forward to interacting with. Excellent customer service especially with the random questions that the average customer has given due to issues with diy related repairs. Between MJ, Shay, Craig, Corvette and Don going above and beyond what they are required of is a great blessing to the community, culture and corporation at large. This is my go-to parts supplier even though it is possible to get cheaper prices the lower quality and lack of a reasonable warranty is cause enough for not trying to save a few pennies upfront and save money in the long-term ownership of your vehicle.”
“If you're procrastinating on getting new wiper blades, freezing rain will absolutely remind you it's time. That being said, I quickly found my way to O'Reillys. Looked up what I needed on that computer thing near the blades, had a small panic at the cost and made my way to the counter. I was greeted with a warm smile by Robert. Who set me up with with a loyalty number and gently told me that there were some better (less ridiculously expensive) choices available. Found the best wiper blades for my Jeep and also had some great advice on product choices on the last minute "can you grab this" from my husband. Robert then came out without hesitation in the freezing rain and put them on for me. Exemplary service. Extremely knowledgeable. This man definitely deserves a raise. Thank you”
“Detroit Battery out here putting Auto Zone, O'Reilly & all others to shame when it comes to car batteries and brakes.... Batteries are $88 for any car with installation &117 brakes are the same...they do great work also glad I came across this business they get a 10 from me”

“The staff was super helpful and very pleasant! Especially the worker named Maurice. He went beyond his work scope to help me find the part that I need for my car. I appreciate that! He calmed me down as my sister and I were having a bad day☹️. His warm smile let us know we would be alright. I would recommend this particular O'Reilly's. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the doors?. You have to push and pull??. So if your hands are full then you have to put your items down, hold the door open with your foot, then exit . Bummer! At least the gentleman Maurice was super pleasant and made out day...so ?shout out to him for his kindness!”
