“Josh, an employee at the Clinton Twp. Location went above and beyond in assisting me with my oil leak in my car. I am a senior citizen and Josh helped me with putting the oil in my car. Josh didn’t have to come out in the cold, but he went out of his way to help me. Also, very kind and courteous - Josh is just a super employee! I’m glad I stopped there! Thank you!”
“I've been coming to this store for a few years now. Lately there seems to been a change in management, but I was glad to see Jody is still around. That guy really knows his stuff and always goes out of his way to get me what I need, even if its not easy to find. He also helped me solve a problem with my car that several mechanics couldn't figure out over the course of 3 years. Its getting hard to find people like that in auto parts stores these days. Usually if they can't just punch it into the computer, they aren't much help anymore. But im glad an old school problem solver guy like Jody is at this location. Always a pleasure to deal with!”

I’ve been in this business for minor things, but this time I needed a new car battery. I had called around the day before looking for a car battery. I chose Great Lakes Battery based off the price, the 6 year warranty, it being a local, small business and their In God We Trust sign. The best part is the service was fast and the two employees that were working there at that time-Kayla and Brogan. Both employees were efficient and friendly. I had hardly finished paying and my car was complete.

“I always get good serice here and usually I come in with questions that they have always been helpful with. Been using O'Reilly even back when they were Murry's.
I will continue coming back. Last visit they tested my battery and alternator on a 16 year old Escape we just got for my daughter. He told me it was ok, but also mentioned that it looked to be misfiring and that could be causing my problems. Was recommended a fuel additive being it had old gas and it is running a little better after adding that and topping off with premium as recommended.”

“Bought windshield wipers ask the guy behind the counter if you install them he said for the most part, so when we went outside we had the rear replacement wiper and he could not figure out how to replace, handed me the wiper and said you're on your own basically, he did replace the front wipers, and I took a 2-minute Google and found out how to take the cover off the rear wiper and replace it myself right there in the parking lot, please train your counter guys to replace rear wiper blades, I will do it myself next time,”

“McKenzie was super helpful finding the bulb I asked for, which turns out wasn’t what I needed. Next day I came back, she tried again to help but had a hard time because I was giving the wrong information! Tony jumps into help, going out to the car he retrieved my bulb that had fallen into the space between the bumper and radiator! After assessing the situation Tony surmised that the bulb was good, a different bulb needed changing and that was the bulb I had purchased!!! With some difficulty (weird bracket on OG bulb)he got them both in and I was free to prowl the night streets again without fear of a ticket. I don’t actually prowl but I like to keep my options opens 😉

“Otis, was very polite and helpful in finding a battery for our generator.He went above and beyond what he had to do. He even came out to check to see if the battery that I had in my van was the right size.He said that I have the right one for the van and he said I didn’t need to buy a new one. “Just want to commend Wes for his great service. Not only did he answer all my girl-questions and show me which coolant I needed, but he even stepped out to the parking lot to show me where the intake valve is located. Although warm a/c is not a crisis, this was my first time handling any sort of vehicle related issue without my dad. I would have otherwise gotten on YouTube and maybe spent a little longer in their parking lot but thanks to Wes @ O’Reilly it ended up being a super easy fix! First of all, Danielle is an absolute badass. She jumped right in and handled the battery change with total ease, showing off some serious technical knowledge and expertise. You can tell she really knows her stuff and takes pride in her work.

“I just met this guy named Chris. He is an employee of O’Reillys. I just got it aftermarket grill and it had some lights on it. And I had no idea how I was going to put it together as far as the electrical part.. and Chris came outside with me and looked at what I had and showed me exactly what to do and when I was outside taking the light apart, he took it upon himself to get the electrical stuff that I needed ready for me when I got inside, I bought the stuff and then he came outside with me and showed me how to hook it up..
Just wow, there’s not too many people out in the world that actually care to help someone and I am glad to have met Chris and I pray for him and his family. Blessings upon blessings.”
