“First time visiting this thrift shop. The cashier was helpful to me. I found 3 pairs of shoes for under $28. Thank you so much for all the donations given to 2nd Hand thift. God bless”
“Such a blessing. I went a day before a brunch I was set to host. They had a sidewalk sale and I was able to get a China set for $1, glasses and silverware for $26 altogether. Plastic is more pricey and that was my point to get the dishes. I'm so thankful for this gem.”

“I can't believe my luck! I started following their Facebook group just for the heck of it. I started a cooking class recently, and I'm in need of a few kitchen accessories. My gosh. I thought I'd be spending a fortune, but to my surprise, I was able to get brand new cookbooks, and practically new mixing bowls for less than 10.00! I wish i would have time to look at the clothing, but i will definitely be back! Everything is so cheap!”
“Staff members are always so friendly. Utilizing the pantry is easy and the staff that works that is so kind and gentle. I love this store. There are always hidden gems I find. Lots of great clothes!”
“My friend and I stopped by on a whim and were thoroughly delighted with Nicole’s shop. So many fun things to look at along with a great selection of clothing. The owner Nicole was friendly and helpful. We will surely return with more thrifting friends”
“Employees are basically kids, but the nicest and most helpful kids. These aren't my favorite kind of places to go, but if you have to take someone there, it's as good an experience as you'll get. Recommend.”
“Beautiful church building. A delightful church family if you’re searching. A formidable brass band playing for the glory of the Lord. Great weekday programs for both kids and adults.”
“Love this store. Amazing clothing for all different ages and styles, and reasonable pricing. Staff was super nice. There was a fitting room, and the place was very clean. The store did not smell bad. They had name brand clothing, such as; Lululemon, Nike and Under Armour. If you are looking for a fun thrifting experience I would 100% recommend. ROCK ON!”
“I love this store! This location is the “spot” too. I can’t even tell you the deals I’ve gotten on Victoria Secret bras, comfy hoodies, North Face, Hollister, Aero, & American Eagle to name a few! Moving up here from the south 5 years ago, needless to say my winter clothing was limited… but the first time hitting this place up I got a CK coat, converse shoes, 2 pairs of Levi’s jeans, 3 hoodies, and a gorgeous Victoria Secret bra (looked brand new) for $70! So yeah people, please don’t sleep on this store!! This Clinton Township location in particular!! . You can sign up for text messages & when they have their 50% off weekends they send you a text.… thrift stores are life! Value World is good place to score some signature pieces! The staff has always been very helpful and pleasant to boot!!”
“Five stars for the donation crew! My go-to donation center was in St Clair Shores but after being continually met with rudeness when donating, I decided to try the Clinton Twp location. Always gracious and friendly!”
“This is the *good* value world, to me. I'm hesitant to hype it up too much because I don't want clothes shopping competition, haha. If you're alt and like DIY, or if you're plus sized, this has the superior selection for all of that. I've never not found exactly what I'm looking for here.”
“Honestly? This one of the most awesome mom and pop Christian thrift stores I have ever been to. There are items that you didn't know that you need and they are there. They have awesome vinyl for a good and reasonable price. If you are a thrifting enthusiast and need to look for something different. Look no more! :)”
“Beautiful store, lovely people working here. This shop has some real gems, and new items all the time. Clothes, home goods, books, toys...from vintage to brand new. One of the best resale shops around.Terrific items, great deals, and all proceeds going to great causes. Win-win-win. Thanks, New to You.”
“Very nice people and a pretty good selection. Prices were good for what the items were. Not much in the way of children's clothing, shoes, or toys. But a pretty generous selection of both men's, women's, purses, and women's shoes. I didn't see much men's shoes. Some linens and home items. Very limited hours so make sure they are open before you go. I would absolutely go back.”
“Great selection of items. Great sales. Decent prices. Friendly staff. Just be sure you have cash. This is a cash only store. They do have 2 ATMs. The bathroom is almost always beyond disgusting, so heads up, especially if you shop with children who inevitably need to use the bathroom.”
“Prices are pretty reasonable a great place to buy used indoor and outdoor furniture not a good place to come to haggle prices honest good quality of product and extremely helpful”
“Been shopping here over 10 yrs, thru many employees and mgrs, decent prices to insane prices. Long enough to know that the sharpie written 2Y 5B etc prices mean 2.99 5.99 etc, that they no longer bag items, no help with furniture loading, and that this location someone stole the large furniture dolly that they haven't remedied.
I know this location deals with a rude clientele and much shop lifting/ price switching. That shouldn't condone rude, lax employees but I don't shop here for customer service. I greet all the staff with kindness and a smile and its usually returned.
Then there's the donation area. I "think" many may be fulfilling community service. They really don't care. They're unloading peoples crap everyday. There was one tall younger man that was allllways unbelievably rude and miserable. So much that I dreaded going there so we take our donations to Vets Returning Home.
There is also a shelf stocker that acts like you are always in her way. I try to respect her job and give her a wide berth. Yet if she comes to an aisle in disarray she slams things around and openly complains to a fellow coworker while straightening.
It's frustrating when things have no price tag but usually the cashier is fair.
Their price categories are set. Example t-shirts 4.99 pj's 3.99 regardless of condition, they don't examine, they're not a boutique, they price per category.
I've seen managers come and go, try to organize the store, make the furniture area look nice but they never last. For the amount of small things they decline I'm surprised some of the heavy items they actually bother to haul to the floor.
So, I'll continue to shop here, but know you're just kinda on your own. They're there to stock your donations and ring you up. Happy hunting!”
“First, I have never been inside! But, as far as donating things, it’s very convenient and easy! I have taken a lot of my kids toys that they don’t play with anymore and a lot of clothes! You just pull up in the back of the store and some employees will come right out and empty your car!”

“I was at your store on Wednesday for the very first time. Not only did I find a cart full of beautiful items that were fairly priced but the people working were so nice! There was a gentleman there on his first day on the floor and he made sure I got the help I needed even when he didn’t know the answer to my question. He was learning to do displays and was doing a fantastic job. There was also a very sweet lady with brightly colored hair that was super friendly. It was refreshing to find a store that was clean and organized with good merchandise and an even better staff!”
“Don’t get me wrong, I love this store, it’s a hidden gem, people are always friendly, and you can find real antiques here…but the last few weeks prices are getting crazy— $339.99 for a cow skin foot stool????? I have one from Homegoods for a 3rd of that price brand new. Watch it Centerline!!! There are seniors and just regular people shopping here not Millionaires.”
