35170 Dodge Park Rd, Sterling Heights“I enjoy my visits to this location even just to browse. Pricing can be a bit scattershot (scatterbrained) but doable. I’ve definitely been to better which reinforces my 4star rating but nothing offensive overall.”
“My 17 year old daughter loved how quaint the shop is and how wonderfully helpful the staff was... she bought a cute brown cable sweater.. thank you for a good experience..T”
“I am a new costumer and now a forever costumer to this excellent consignment store. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with this sweet voice “ Hello how are you?” I’m talking about the owner who is the sweetest lady, hard working, very eager to help and assist etc.The store is very clean, organized, wonderful selection of high end merchandise. Everything I looked at was in wonderful condition including casual, work or cocktail dresses, ball gowns, purses, shoes etc. You need to check out this store i guarantee you will not be disappointed!!!”
10:30AM - 5:30PM
11526 E 10 Mile Rd, Warren“Byron's resale shop is absolutely without a doubt the cleanest resale shop I have ever visited. Byron himself is a class act, top shelf stand up guy and is not afraid of a good haggle on prices. Go see !!”
“Very nice people and a pretty good selection. Prices were good for what the items were. Not much in the way of children's clothing, shoes, or toys. But a pretty generous selection of both men's, women's, purses, and women's shoes. I didn't see much men's shoes. Some linens and home items. Very limited hours so make sure they are open before you go. I would absolutely go back.”
“Excellent thrifting here! There are great finds every time I get to shop here! It's a great place to donate used clothing and decorative items. They support the Neighborhood House in supporting the people of the neighboring communities. The volunteers are so nice and helpful too!”
“Great and welcoming place. My children have gone here for at least 3 years for thier after school program and two summers in the day camp program. There is a reason there is a massive wait list to get in! Keep up the great work!”
“We visit family in Rochester Hills a few times each year. I always make time to stop by The Funky Frog. Wonderful, high quality selection of children’s clothing. The owner is always incredibly kind, helpful, and professional.”
“Honestly, we must have driven past thousands of times and just stopped in on a prayer today. It is such a lovely shop! Super clean, super organized, and very fun to shop in! The owners were great. It's definitely not a "rummage through a bunch of junk to find a diamond for a dollar" thrift store - and while I appreciate that style of thrifting for fun... this was a great place for what we needed today-unique and QUALITY clothing for a special event on a time crunch. I'll be back- and am excited to shop the sections I didn't get to today.”
10AM - 8PM
28720 N Stephenson Hwy, Madison Heights“We visited in hopes of finding furniture but there weren't many pieces we were interested in. The Vincent de Paul thrift store back home was huge. This one is a much smaller location.Donations drop offs are easy though! Drive up, put your stuff in a bin and you're done! Not sure if donation receipts are offered as there wasn't anyone manning the donation area.”
10AM - 9PM
33955 Gratiot Ave, Clinton“I love this store! This location is the “spot” too. I can’t even tell you the deals I’ve gotten on Victoria Secret bras, comfy hoodies, North Face, Hollister, Aero, & American Eagle to name a few! Moving up here from the south 5 years ago, needless to say my winter clothing was limited… but the first time hitting this place up I got a CK coat, converse shoes, 2 pairs of Levi’s jeans, 3 hoodies, and a gorgeous Victoria Secret bra (looked brand new) for $70! So yeah people, please don’t sleep on this store!! This Clinton Township location in particular!! . You can sign up for text messages & when they have their 50% off weekends they send you a text.… thrift stores are life! Value World is good place to score some signature pieces! The staff has always been very helpful and pleasant to boot!!”
“I can not experience this store in person yet. I can... But I just want to tell u because I'll make this part of my experience I can not talk to anyone over the phone. The number is not in service is says. I hope you can fix this. I'd like to ask you a question now, and maybe in the future. Peace”
10AM - 7PM
25152 Van Dyke Ave, Center Line“Pros: Good stuff for reasonable prices.Large selection. They accept cash or credit. Some staff is kind and friendly .Cons: Bathrooms are always dirty and smelly. The boutique section is extremely over priced. Staff is often in the way and hinders your shopping experience. Sometimes, it's impossible to get by. That makes for an unpleasant shopping experience.”
10AM - 8PM
26740 Dequindre Rd, Warren“We recently moved to the area and were in need of furniture and household goods as we left most of our large stuff behind. They were having a holiday sale on their furniture. I found quite a few pieces charming. There was a super helpful employee that let us know about the sale and delivery options. He also informed us that they were picking up more furniture that day and it would be out the following Tuesday. The prices were great. The staff was friendly. And they do have quite a bit of furniture, clothing and other household items.”
“This Salvation Army at 23 & Van Dyke is a very good one with clothes well organized and always new items coming in. I often find clothes here with the price tags still on. Very spacious with lots of home goods, furniture and more.”
“A nice big resale shop . Open and clear shopping spaces so it doesn't get congested like some do. The people are really the nicest around ! Nice quality items at affordable prices . Which I feel is fresh because some are getting pricey. And the company actually helps people in need. Great business.”
“For years I overlooked this particular Value World which was my loss as it's absolutely loaded with stuff. Like you have to pull clothes completely off the rack to even get much of a good look at them. The men's long sleeve dress shirts have so many options all neatly organized by color, very pleasing to the OCD mind. At my current restaurant job we have to wear cream or khaki colored pants and white long sleeve dress shirts. I've bought white shirts from this VW twice. This last visit I tried to find pants but there were so many pairs in that color and so many not my size I eventually got fatigued and gave up. I have enough to get by for now and I'm not going to hold it against them. I used to not even try to find pants at thrift stores as I was so skinny they never seemed to have my size. I've put on a few pounds now but it's still not easy. They had enough options here and though they didn't seem to be organized by size I can't blame em. A lot of clothes look to move through this place. You might catch some funky odor here and though in 2023 thrift stores aren't the value they once were it still beats buying stuff new. The outside has that classic Value World look and the employees look like they know all about the thrifting game even if they sometimes also have that weary of working customer service look. At any rate they look cool and are probably hoarding some good shit behind the scenes. I know I'd be. This last trip here I stopped to look for CDs but then remembered my Jeep CD player is broken. I also can't be loading up on clothes as I'm broke and gotta move soon. This thrift store is the type of place that makes me wanna reactivate my dormant thrifting gene though. It's probably my favorite thrift store at the moment. It's been a long time for a new ruler to ascend to the throne after the Value World on Woodward in New Center closed.”
10AM - 5:30PM
22005 Van Dyke Ave, Warren“Every time I go the staff are really nice to me! Some times they even negotiate the prices. The store is pretty much clean and they have good stuff that you can use for your diy projects. Go and check them out for yourself!Happy shopping!”
9AM - 9PM
31015 Harper Ave, St Clair Shores“The workers are extremely nice and I always find something unique here.I did however, buy an expensive chair and had to come back the next day to grab it and they sold it again. They refunded me and gave me in store credit but my heart was set on that chair. So that sucked.Otherwise if they didn't happen I would of given this store 5 stars.”
9AM - 9PM
34150 Southbound Gratiot Ave, Clinton“Amazing selection and great deals. Very organized for the amount of product they have. Be prepared to wait a chunk of time on the weekends as it is clearly a very popular spot. They seem to be a bit understaffed but the men working at checkout were very friendly and polite and it’s not their fault if the place is understaffed!”
9AM - 9PM
45250 Northpointe Blvd, Utica“Omg, this place has had so much stuff. I went there last night in a practical blizzard to get something for my daughter that she needed for an event. There were 4 people working at the store. Hannah, Jenny, Laurie, and Micheal. Everyone of them helped me at one time or another and provided excellent customer service. I have been to other Salvation Army's and service was no where near as good as it was here. I would highly recommend this store. It's very large and has a very large amount of products at great prices. Seriously, every employee there went above and beyond helping me find what I needed. I hope I put the store manager's name on here, she had to help with pricing on some items and she was so sweet. So extra kudos to her. Thank you for your help. Delaina”
10AM - 9PM
24900 Kelly Rd, Eastpointe“This is the *good* value world, to me. I'm hesitant to hype it up too much because I don't want clothes shopping competition, haha. If you're alt and like DIY, or if you're plus sized, this has the superior selection for all of that. I've never not found exactly what I'm looking for here.”
“Stopped in today for the first time. Nice assortment of a little bit of everything. Much bigger than I was expecting. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stop in again soon.”
9AM - 7PM
37545 Southbound Gratiot Ave, Clinton“Great selection of items. Great sales. Decent prices. Friendly staff. Just be sure you have cash. This is a cash only store. They do have 2 ATMs. The bathroom is almost always beyond disgusting, so heads up, especially if you shop with children who inevitably need to use the bathroom.”
10AM - 5:30PM
46660 Van Dyke Ave, Shelby“Thanks for the great deals & fair prices , I'll be back, very soon. If you need it this place (about 95% of the time), this place will have it . I'm glad my brother talked me into coming with him and he found everything he was looking for. Thanks again. The Winfield's”
9AM - 9PM
114 E 4th St, Royal Oak“I was at your store on Wednesday for the very first time. Not only did I find a cart full of beautiful items that were fairly priced but the people working were so nice! There was a gentleman there on his first day on the floor and he made sure I got the help I needed even when he didn’t know the answer to my question. He was learning to do displays and was doing a fantastic job. There was also a very sweet lady with brightly colored hair that was super friendly. It was refreshing to find a store that was clean and organized with good merchandise and an even better staff!”
“These people are amazing. I want to give a special thank you to the person in charge. I am not from the area and went in shopping. I purchased a few things and went to pay, but my card didn't go through and I didn't have any cash on me. I showed that I did have money in my account, and the owner said it has to do with my bank. I told him I can go back to get cash but I am 30 min away and he then just took the money out from his pocket and paid the amount for me! Even though it wasn't a lot, he thanked me for coming in and said happy holidays! I asked if anyone had venmo or cash app or if he had it and no one did, and he said not to worry about it. He knew the drive there and back would most likely be as much as the amount I was paying. God bless him and everyone in that store and my friend if you are reading this, you are an angel and have made me see that there truly are beautiful souls still out there. God bless you all!”
