“This place has been delivering the goods for me for 20 years at this point. I've made countless impulse purchases and I'm never disappointed. I've been using my Yeti cup for 10 years now. That's why I love this place, not just the stuff I need, but stuff I want. I went in today and they fixed the lot and are doing a nice remodel. I hope they stick around another 20.”

“Great helpful staff! We’ve shopped Prior’s for decades and are so happy the new owners and staff haven’t missed a beat. we recently purchased their products including install and are more than satisfied with price and service. Shop local, you won’t regret it. They still have that small town feel, and still deliver big on the products, service, and installation. They have even added knife and scissor sharpening services. Thanks Bill, Lindsay, Rocky, and the entire Prior team. You make our community proud.”

“Recently swung by Ace in St. Clair on Friday, July 3, 2026 and was greeted by perhaps the epitome of what Ace believes in, a helpful hardware folk. I don’t remember his name but when we walked in, he greeted us, asked us what we were looking and guided us to the aisle and location with perfection. I watched and heard him also interact with other customers, and I was just blown away by his top notch, dependable, trustworthy customer service. This man was literally incredible at his job and had a giant welcoming smile on his face. Just wanted to give you some feedback. This gentleman was a delight.”

“Friendly staff, even the grumpy guy at the lumber counter. Cashiers are great, and so are the yard staff. A little pricey, but it beats driving into strip mall hell Chesterfield. Good quality lumber.”

“I stop in here a few times a year and always get great service..they always have what I need for the home. The prices are fair compared to big box stores which are always far. They also sell propane.”
