“I have lived in the area for the last 5 years. However, I hadn't stopped in here until the most recent owners took over. I'm from down south where these general stores are a little more common in the sticks. One thing that's different with this one is that they sell liquor. I saw that on their Facebook page and that pushed me to stop in. I'm a gin drinker, and they actually have a decent selection compared to a lot of stores here.
I've interacted with what seems to be both of the owners and they are very, very pleasant. They have a good selection of snacks and foods, and some glass bottle sodas.
Sure, you'll pay a little more at general stores, but not having to navigate the Busch's or Kroger parking lot chaos for a quick liquor or sandwich run... totally worth it. And, I'd argue that they're cheaper than the former anyways.
Also, if you're a cyclist, they have a bike rack out front and it's a nice safe route to ride. It's right at the crossroads of Clinton-Macon, Macon, and Ford Roads... all which have been good to me so far on the bike.”

“My dad used to come here and get dehydrated meat sticks in bulk. The owner used to love him and would constantly sell him bags of meat sticks. I used to come in here with friends and return pop bottles to get snacks for the day. The owner was always very friendly and nice. Glad to see them still open!”

“Gas isn't too bad today. $2.39 for cash or credit. I prefer places like this that have the same exact price for cash or credit. I feel like I'm not getting penalized for not having cash on me. Car was nearly empty. Filled up the car with $38, just less than 15.84 gallons of gas. Quick in and out service with the outside pumps and credit card machines. It took us less then five minutes, can't beat that.”

“I was just up there. They have these men's cologne samples by the cashier for $3.99 and they smell amazing! However they were sold out of the men's and I'm not sure what the brand of the parfume was as I would love to find a bigger bottle since they ran out. Could someone please help lol. “Have hot grill items but worker did not know what the new feature item was. There was also no sauce offered that went in combination with any of the grill items that they had or didn't have available at that time the lady behind the counter offered me mail and ketchup for my jalapeno cheese taquito ? The candy I wanted to purchase expired in January of this year. And As I was leaving there was a truck leaking fuel from the pump all down throughout the parking lot and exiting the driveway so when I got home a few blocks away I called the phone number on the receipt and it is not in service. Now this I believe is a very unsafe situation how does a business not have a phone number that's not in service and the owner claims to be safe and serve fresh hot food there was no pizza or any of the other featured items of the week available because the toaster oven was not working.**Update** I have since visited this store and changes have been made. I always have a lot of questions things before I buy them. This gentleman was unable to answer one of them which was not about a product but a new promotion that was starting and he said I do not have the answer for you right now if you can wait a few minutes I can get it for you but if not come back tomorrow at this time and I will have it for you. Everything was fresh and he offered to make me anything else that I would like.”
