“Very reasonably priced and they sell cool boutique suet bags too. I called them, they smoked a small spiral for me I picked it up the next day, 2 days before thanksgiving, Best ham I ever had in my life and I am old. Not normal ham, this is luxury ham on another level that will shut up people that complain a lot. Looks like no parking from the street but there is when you driveway up around back. Getting good work out of you hammers lately.”

“I stopped in to Grand Butchers to look for some steak for my Christmas Eve meal. I was greeted right away and the friendly employee cut me two generous ribeye steaks. It was about $20 per pound, which is certainly better than any restaurant pricing so I was happy. I don't buy a ton of meat so I'm not sure if that pricing is in line with other stores, but I wanted to support this local shop right in my own neighborhood. They had a large selection of other cuts of meat, chicken, and packaged items like crackers, sauces, dips, gifts, and more. I'm definitely coming back to Grand Butchers the next time I need a more special cut of meat. Love the large parking lot and I was in and out in no time.”

“My boyfriend and I LOVE Franks. We buy all our protein from here. Everything is so fresh and yummy! I can’t even pick a favorite. I like to buy the frozen chicken breasts that are already marinated… they are huge & I always have left over. For football games we buy the chicken wings. & don’t even get me started on the NY Strip! For snacks we always get Hot Shot beef sticks, I like the cheddar ones! You can’t beat the price too!! The staff is great, Nolan Collins and Matt Bilski are always so helpful!!”

“We found Bob’s butcher block about three months ago and we are so happy we did! We are there weekly buying food for the family. They make it very easy to buy it and bring it home and make it. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable and they’ve all been very helpful telling us the best way to cook everything and answering any other questions. “I really love this store it has a lot of meat pieces you can't find elsewhere at such convenient pricing and Plainfield Ave is such a convenient location for me!Chicken and turkey necks, chicken hearts, chicken liver chicken feet, farm fresh eggs, sausage made on the farm, everything is so good!(They also have great cuts of steak, seafood, burger, sausages, the list goes on...)One reason I especially love it is I feed my pets a balanced raw diet and they have a special small cooler here where they sell a ground up mix of a raw diet for dogs and cats in 2lb packages.One side of the cooler is turkey packages and one side is chicken. One mix has small bones in it and one doesn't. Bones are GREAT for naturally cleaning your pet's teeth! These are not the size of chokable bones and they're SAFE for them because they have not been cooked. It's a RAW Diet so you feed this to them AS IS, DO NOT COOK IT!! The packages are $3/apiece which if you buy this online it's usually double the cost for this!!AND for only a 5 minute drive from my house?! Hell yeah!”

“Currently eating this while writing this, the sandwich is very very savory sweet ham, bread soft, meat on top and bottom veggies in the middle ?? I ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch 10 ⭐️’s with potato salad I mean it’s not that bad but when you’re ethnic you yk yk haha just add salt n pepper you will be alright other than that everything is very good. I also order the Cheesecake Sampler ToGo so far everyone loves the cheesecake they all look delicious.”

“Has O/N parking on the black gravel/dirt area. Appt 1800, knock on door at 1630. Lumper fair to cheap, unloaded 13 pallets and gone with pw in hand 1 hr. Easy backing and all staff is friendly. Just be aware no facilities if arriving when closed.”

“Visited the Downtown Market on a Thursday before Christmas. Arrived 20 minutes before it opened at 11am, getting in and parking was easy, but by 11 it was full. Arrive early or look for a spot on the street, which was also full by 12. We stayed for 2.5 maybe 3 hours and the parking was $18. Lots of very interesting shops available. We dined at Carvers, had the turkey Reuben and the BLT with a water , cost around $32. Both were excellent, but I liked the BLT the best. I’ve tried their meat before and also found it excellent. Highly recommended. Lots of space upstairs for seated dining.”
