“Rolled in on fumes riding the sled a couple weeks ago, store wasn't open. Went inside next door to call someone and came out and Chauncey was there opening up just for me! He saw me roll in as he was coming back into town and turned things on to help a fella out. Understanding of the challenges that this season brings, very thankful for locals who are willing to help out us dumb tourists! We had a good long chat after I fueled up then hit the road. Will stop next time I'm in the area to say hi for sure!”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.
