“Best liquor store pizza in the area. I just got 2 slices for $3, and now I’m pissed that I’ve lived here for 6 months and I’m just now finding out about this pizza in this place. I don’t drink, so you know, I didn’t have the need to go here. But then, I saw Simeon walking out with the triangle shaped piece of foil wrap, and I slammed on my breaks and went in. Thank god. This is my new spot. It’s a block a way from a “famously beloved” pizza place, and the pizza here is better than there, hands down. I’m already fighting the urge to go back to get more, even though my fingers are still greasy from this trip. High 5s all around. And the guys behind the counter seemed pleasant. I was greeted as soon as I walked through the door. That’s rare nowadays. This is my new spot.”
“Mark’s Market is honestly one of my favorite stops! They have everything — BuzzBallz, liquor, beer, wine, candy, chips, ice cream, and all the snacks you could ever want. It’s the kind of place where you walk in for one thing and end up grabbing a few extras because the selection is so good.
The store is always clean, well-stocked, and easy to find what you’re looking for. And the workers are super friendly — they greet you, help you out if you can’t find something, and make the whole experience quick and easy. You can tell they actually care about the customers.

you're in downtown Detroit area and looking for a top-tier liquor store, look no further — this place is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a welcoming vibe, spotless shelves, and a team that genuinely knows their craft.
The selection here is phenomenal. Whether you're after small-batch bourbons, rare tequilas, fine wines, or local Michigan craft beers, they’ve got it — and then some. I was especially impressed with their curated selection of artisanal spirits and hard-to-find imports. It’s clear this isn’t your average corner shop; it’s a destination for enthusiasts and casual sippers alike.
Andy & Chris are Total pros. Friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to offer recommendations or mixology tips. They even helped me build a custom gift basket that was a total hit at a recent event.
Prices are more than fair, especially considering the quality and range on offer. Plus, the store is beautifully organized and well-lit, which makes browsing a pleasure rather than a chore.

“Nice convenient store in Detroit, located on the City's westside. You can purchase tabacoo, beer, wine, or your choice of spirit (liquor) and play the lottery. The store is also known for its delicious food. They have a menu consisting of pizza, chicken, potato wedges, garlic bread, and pop. The food line sometimes may crowd the store but it moves fast and its just that delicious. The employees are tge most friendly and attentive people you'll ever meet. I go here on a regular!”

Good service getting practically whatever you had there at the store when you needed it. It'll be a great little place to go to plus the little restaurant area inside to grab food to go. I've never had a problem there.It's always been good to food.”
“The fried chicken is on point. I had to go back the next day the chicken was seasoned good , crunchy. When I went back the next day to buy chicken I also order a chicken dinner I didn't care to much for the Mac and cheese and the Broccoli and cheese no seasoning could've been better. But the crunchy chicken was A -1 .”

Lately, I have been doing my grocery shopping online at Walmart and getting home delivery. I also have been shopping at the Kenwood Liquor Store through Uber Eats or DoorDash and getting home delivery. This is hands-down one of the most unique cultural spaces in Detroit. Liquor Basket x Push Gallery is a one-of-a-kind destination that combines a neighborhood business with a powerful artistic mission. Even though I don’t personally drink, I visited to explore the art—and I was absolutely inspired by what I saw.
The gallery, led by Detroit artist Dominick Lemonious, creates a platform for local creatives to shine. The exhibits are bold, thought-provoking, and deeply rooted in Detroit’s identity. It’s clear this space is about more than just aesthetics—it’s about storytelling, community, and honoring Black Detroit voices through visual art.
Their current exhibition “Community First” features a range of talented artists whose work captures the spirit and resilience of the city. It’s welcoming, meaningful, and something everyone—no matter your background—can appreciate.

“Have never had a problem here since I moved a mile away 5 months ago. Some of the prices are a little high but for a store that's open during every hour Michigan allows you to sell liquor; it's not bad, the selection is huge and the employees are super nice. Just expect to pay like from 30 cents to a little over a dollar more on most items.”
