“STUDIO 126I have visited Studio 126 several times. The artists, Richard Moore and Sebastian Sandu, and their works are impressive.I first became aware of Richard’s work in sculpture when I saw his horses displayed in the Grand River during Art Prize in 2012. I decided then I wanted one of his horses in my yard. After meeting Richard, he worked with me to get the pose that I wanted for the horse, making suggestions and listening carefully to my ideas. He created the horse, delivered it to my home, and positioned it in the back gardens. He definitely went the extra mile. Richard was friendly, easy to work with, and very accommodating. His amazing work sculpted from tree branches has brought acclaims from guests and neighbors alike. Sebastian’s work in oil is captivating. He is equally at home with landscape and portrait and the sense of movement and life is evident. His paintings are standouts. When I commissioned a painting from him, he went to great lengths to discuss the various aspects of it, to carefully understand what I wanted, and to offer his expertise in its composition. He even went so far as to match the colors in the room where it was to be hung within the painting. He brought the painting to my home, and he hung it for me, also going that extra mile. The whole process was inspiring from start to finish as Sebastian’s friendly and analytical nature captured my thoughts and ideas.Their works speak for themselves. A visit to Studio 126 to meet and to see their creations has been a positive and refreshing experience for me.”

“Have loved Roan & Black ever since it opened and it's our favorite gallery in the area. They offered to store a large piece for us when we didn't have space for it, has contacted artists for commission work on our behalf, even contacted a home owner in town to find out about a color they used on their house. All these Negative parking reviews make me sad. Surely people can understand common curtesy and know about following rules and reading signs? We love Pennyroyal too and it's great they're doing a bang up business, but if it were the other way around, and R&B customers were parking in their front spots "just for a few minutes" and inconveniencing customers - I think they would be frustrated too.”
“SCAM ALERT! ? I fell for it but didn’t spend much. Marketing tactics are misleading. Art is mass produced with misleading/scam signatures. (The signatures make me want to give it 1 star and 5 stars at the same time.??) If you google the signature on a piece, you may think it is genuine, the seller does a fantastic job with artists who make pieces similar to the hobby lobby painting you purchase. Example I purchased a cheap little butterfly with a signature from an artist who makes little butterfly artwork. Prices are on point for mass produced art. You get what you pay for.
Brilliant business model. 5 Stars. ⭐️ I mean, who looks up reviews for an art gallery prior to making a purchase!? I fell for it- mostly because I was there at the end of the tourist season so the sale seemed legit to me.
Edit: The funniest part about my experience is the amount of time that the cashier spent writing down the details, as if the art was actually a piece she had to provide tracking to the artist for. ?? People behind me waited quite a while.”
