“Benton Harbor Meijer is an indescribably excellent grocery store. Having shopped in grocery store chains throughout the world, I can honestly say, in my opinion, this is one of the best.
Clean, stocked with the best variety, reliable, friendly, and helpful - did I say clean? Yes, across the board!
I get accomplished what I need to quickly, efficiently, and practically. This is a very efficient store.
Plus, door greeter, Lou - with her strong welcoming and friendly voice and perpetual smile - is by far the World's Greatest Door Greeter. Years ago I was a professional door greeter for a different company before I realized I belonged not in retail - but rather in my field of healthcare. But nevertheless, being an excellent door greeter requires tremendous amounts of energy and friendliness. It is a joy when I get to pay my respects to one of the many incredible (like Themousse, as well) Door Greeters at at the superb, Meijer - Benton Harbor grocery superstore!?”

“I found a great meat selection, and Aldi's is so much cheaper than some other places. I was disappointed, though. Their main website advertised raised garden beds. The Aldi's in Benton Harbor had no garden supplies in yet. Now I see sandals advertised, but I wouldn't trust them being in all stores. Good to check first. They all have gluten-free supplies. The cart situation is a pain. I'd prefer they charge the 25 cents at check out. All in all, it is worth bringing bags and having less expensive options with a good meat selection if you're into that.”
“This is not a particularly cheap place to buy groceries for the family. They do have great potato salad and some interesting bulk food items. This store is mostly stocked-up for the needs of restaurants.”

“A great place to stop when you’re on the run or you need to take your time you can have a quick shop here or you can take your time and shop they have live bait. It’s right on the damn in Bering Springs, Michigan right off of all them 139 great location easy to get to and they have everything a manageable in this convenience store.”

“This new store, north of Niles on the corner of Old Walton Road and Old U.S. 31, is right on the way to the golf course, which I visit daily (weather pending), making it the perfect place to pick up water and snacks for the course. The ladies working there have been courteous and pleasant and have put up admirably with my shopping "like a guy" techniques and accompanying endless chatter. I'll be a regular during golf weather. The store itself is clean and well-organized. All in all, an excellent shopping experience.”

“Only place to find genuine imported oriental foods. If you walk down the "forgein" food section at the grocery store and think i wish there was more, then go here. The frozen dumplings were AMAZING, the garlic chili oil is addictive, and I will absolutely be back.”

“Great experience here... Filled my cart full of groceries and checked out, when I went to pay for the items, I realized I had forgotten my wallet... I told the cashier and put my cart behind the counter... I went home and returned to Dollar General and paid for my items... This clerk is to be commended! She figured out a way to keep the store running smoothly without having to run my items thru the check out a second time... I believe she was the first shift manager... Thank God for her consideration and concern for her customers! This incident happened today, 04-20-2021... And, she was able to do this, help customers, stock shelves and deal with a disgruntled employee all at the same time... Good job Dollar General on your choice of employees...”

“This store could get a 5 star if they took better control of their parking. While there really isn't a way to control what the customers do, they certainly can fix the employee's parking. Most small businesses don't think about a vehicle bigger than the normal car.”
“Little treasure I found on accident, first time met a nice older gentleman that was working the counter, very cordial, bought some pizza and propane. Second time I went young lady was working, no pizza ready and felt very uncomfortable like I was interrupting her day, left without making a purchase, Now to figure out what the gentleman's schedule is to time my visits better.”
“Customer service is outstanding. vapes and liquor selection is unmatchable. Prices ar phenomenal with new coolers, able to see product and vast variety of products. Not to mention Hot Food which makes it a one stop shop. Check em out!!”

“Kartar Foods is a great place to shop. Woman who owns it is very nice everytime I go in there. I drive all the way from Kalamazoo to get their fresh meat cut daily at a reasonable price.”
“Apple Valley is always nice when I need a few things like supplements, pretty soaps or lotions, or snacks ie Chocolate. Decent selection of gluten free stuff and other health food style items. Don't expect to buy a steak or chicken tho, as this store is strictly meat free. Closed on Saturdays, other days open til 6.”
“Friendly employees. I did notice a few employees standing around the exiting area talking to one another casually. If I was running the place, I would insist that they gather in their break room not our front. It's a little too casual and not a professional look.”

“To be fair my point of reference is the Dollar General in Dowagiac and I will drive from Dowagiac to Eau Claire to visit this DG Market as it is much cleaner and has a small selection of fresh food. I particularly appreciate the salads. In addition, the self checkout reduces wait time in line sometimes enough to make up for the travel time.”
