“Not as friendly as usually Is be and why at busy time would you have 2 register people go on break especially when the other lady her name is Heidi is bit friendly instead of just trying to quickly check me out trying to tell me something not related to groceries and never smiles says she’s patient but tells inappropriate jokes about patience even though this is my hometown I usually go to the friendlier one in Bridgman or Buchanan should have gone to Buchanans today this all happened today this location used to be so much friendlier don’t know what happened used to be 5 stars now like Bridgman and buchanans now it’s only 4 stars”

“Meijer has a super good cashier, her name is Carrie. My wife and I are regular shoppers every week, until last September when we found out that my wife has cancer. Cassie inquired as to why my wife was no longer with me, I told her because of her receiving chemo. I'm still a regular and Cassie inquires about my wife. The concern and love that Cassie has shown to my wife is truly heart warming. Thank you, Meijer for having such a wonderful young woman work for you.”

“Nice place to pick up load friendly people showed up few hours early for my pick up and gave me no problem although I had to wait in line for my turn once on dock I was loaded in 10 mins and out back on road. No Overnight parking sign so call and find out with them .”

“Little treasure I found on accident, first time met a nice older gentleman that was working the counter, very cordial, bought some pizza and propane. Second time I went young lady was working, no pizza ready and felt very uncomfortable like I was interrupting her day, left without making a purchase, Now to figure out what the gentleman's schedule is to time my visits better.”

“Great experience here... Filled my cart full of groceries and checked out, when I went to pay for the items, I realized I had forgotten my wallet... I told the cashier and put my cart behind the counter... I went home and returned to Dollar General and paid for my items... This clerk is to be commended! She figured out a way to keep the store running smoothly without having to run my items thru the check out a second time... I believe she was the first shift manager... Thank God for her consideration and concern for her customers! This incident happened today, 04-20-2021... And, she was able to do this, help customers, stock shelves and deal with a disgruntled employee all at the same time... Good job Dollar General on your choice of employees...”

“This new store, north of Niles on the corner of Old Walton Road and Old U.S. 31, is right on the way to the golf course, which I visit daily (weather pending), making it the perfect place to pick up water and snacks for the course. The ladies working there have been courteous and pleasant and have put up admirably with my shopping "like a guy" techniques and accompanying endless chatter. I'll be a regular during golf weather. The store itself is clean and well-organized. All in all, an excellent shopping experience.”

“I had already been to one store for black eye peas. I went to Walmart in Benton Harbor, their frozen black eye peas were empty. I asked a very nice gentleman Johnathan. He checked his phone, said there were some in the back and that he would check. A few minutes later he came out with a box! Johnathan saved me a trip to another store. Walmart is lucky to have him as an employee! He's polite and helpful.”

“To be fair my point of reference is the Dollar General in Dowagiac and I will drive from Dowagiac to Eau Claire to visit this DG Market as it is much cleaner and has a small selection of fresh food. I particularly appreciate the salads. In addition, the self checkout reduces wait time in line sometimes enough to make up for the travel time.”
