“The Lowry Estate turned me onto the Ferndale Vintage Market, and it led to me going to the store which has such a gorgeous and chic collection of items. I bought 2 fabulous dresses (check the purple dress pictured below), and Corliss was so warm and friendly with an amazing eye. I'd totally recommend coming in to see her or hopefully you can catch her at Eastern Market.”

“definitely more vintage vinyl, not much modern music offered. a bit difficult to tell what is for sale because some items are not priced or labeled as such. aside from vinyl and clothes, mostly knickknacks and kitsch decor. small selection of jewelry and sunglasses”

“This place is an audio gear lovers paradise. First, be prepared to be shocked with the massive inventory in such a tiny space. The owner, Moses, has audio gear knowledge that astounds me every time I have visited. He will take the time to inform you and walk you through your buying experience. If the receiver you're interested in is in the middle of a stack, Moses will pull it out and connect it to a massive array of speakers for you to see and hear.Over the last few years, all of my bland modern pieces of gear, with no personality, have been replaced. All of my gear now is vintage with personality and plenty of heartwarming sound. All from Ecotopia. I'm sure hi-fi enthusiasts will understand what that means. Thanks for all your time, Moses. Don't forget, I still don't have a reel to reel.John”

“I've been riding my this store for over a year now, and I've always been curious if they had anything that would fit me (6'4 275lbs). Well I wanted a nice shirt and tie for my lady's birthday dinner. Russ was great from the time I walked in the door until the time I walked out with a beautiful shirt and paisley tie that he helped to perfectly match to my lady's dress. Thank you again Russ , and I truly look forward to shopping with you in the future.”

“I came here today & found some very nice finds. I picked up a Brand new designer dress orig.$295 for $55! It fit me beautifully & I was so happy with it. I also picked up a sparkly top & a Northface rain jacket for my daughter as well as a necklace for NYE, & it all came to $100! Today, Monday the deal was an additional 10% off if you use a CC. You gotta check out this little thrift/consignment shop. It is definitely worth a trip if your in the area. ????”

“I had a great first shopping experience at Posh. I stopped in to check out the place because I had time before a meeting. I spent about 30 minutes perusing a great selection of clean, quality items. I found a tunic, a Talbot's blazer and two dresses for less than $90! One dress was Nautica, the other Tommy Bahama (which was new with tags! A $125 dress.).
The store was clean and well organized. The manager was personable and helpful. I will definitely return!”

“Today I called this consignment store by mistake. I actually wanted the clothing store in the same strip mall. The person who answered the phone to look up the number for the other store. It's nice to see someone do something just because it's the nice thing to do.”

“This is a very good Eddie Bauer store location. It's located inside The Twelve Oaks mall.
I have personally shopped at this location several times and have not been disappointed. The staff here is nice and knowledgeable and will make sure you find the items you are looking for. Even if the items are not in stock, they will order the items for you.”

“Hands down the best place to find one of a kind Mid Century Modern furniture and artwork. The Le Shoppe team was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable. They actively listened to my needs and matched me with the perfect MCM pieces. The showroom is massive!!! You will not be disappointed. Thank you for such an amazing experience!!”

“This is such a quaint, cool shop tucked away in Northville. The owner is incredibly kind. If I recall correctly, I think they have a couple hundred regular consignors, so they literally get in new items every day.

Considering the crazy amount Northville charges businesses in rent, the prices here are very fair. To wager a guess, similar stores (of this integrity) in more rural areas probably have ~10-20% lower prices on average. But, again, Northville charges an arm, a leg, and someone's firstborn child in business rent. This is a great small business with quality items. Check their hours and go support them!

What was in stock when we went (July 2025): lots of wall decor and general home decor, single seating options, home storage, kitchen miscellany, outdoor furniture and decor, tables and drawers”

“Really nice local resale and new item shop. Antoinette is also a pick-up location for WISH orders. Very friendly staff and every day there are discounted items and sales. Well worth stopping in to see if there are items for you. Nice selection of men's wear as well as women's garments and shoes.”

“Excellent experience at this store. With a wonderful mission to support - especially knowing the consignment furniture directly supports seniors and their families. Incredible and reasonably priced furniture, art, decor with tiered prices as items are there 1-3 months. Great finds, new favorite place!”

“I like the selection at this location. I find great deals on name brands for low prices. Associates are friendly and the store is clean. Smaller than Ann Arbor but usually not as busy. I've only sold here a few times but have received a good amount for what I was selling.”

“We were delighted to do business with Wendy and Jimmy at Second Showing. We found high quality furniture in new condition that is perfect for our needs. Their standards are high, so this is not a typical "thrift" store or consignment store that is crowded with outdated styles; customers will find high end pieces from non smoking pet free homes, not fixer-uppers. They were very helpful in arranging delivery, as well. We will be back, even just to browse and say hello. It's a pleasure to do business with a local establishment that is focused on quality products and service.”

“I can always find something at this Salvation Army, especially now that it's been remodeled... it is much easier to shop. The shorts were all sorted by size which also helps tremendously! In addition there are two small and one large handicap fitting room.”

“This is definitely one of my favorite thrift stores. I love the color coordination and I always find what I need and not to be mean but I like this one better then oak park”

“Nice selection, though the vast supply can make it a bit tricky to find things. If you have enough time—or ask the friendly and helpful staff for assistance—you can find almost anything you need.”

“Had a great experience at this location, and I live closer to the Ypsilanti one. Definitely will be using westland as my main store from now on! The store was very clean and the new manager Dillon was super nice and helpful.”

“The cashier was very friendly the store still a good place to go to little outdated, but it’s becoming far and in between most of the Salvation Army‘s are gone my only complaint was certain things weren’t priced and trying to find somebody to price them was a nightmare.”

“Amazing finds for designer and lux items! Jess had been really helpful she’s one of a kind! Love buying from them everything I get is as described. Cant wait for Black Friday sales!”

“Best selection in a Salvation Army by far, low prices, well organised, staff are friendly. Might take a little digging because this place is stocked up but have never left empty handed. Usually a little understaffed so make sure to time your checkout right, great place overall!”

“The staff is super nice. We found a very specific jacket for my daughter for a school project. They gave it to us for less than the price on it. It was only $5. I donate there a lot.”

“Love this Salvation Army! I've been shopping here since 2010! Like any thrift shop, there are a lot of items that you need to look through to find a name-brand item that you like, but the are in there if you're willing to look. The store is so big that you're almost guaranteed to leave with at least one thing.”

“Expensive, but it has lots of stuff to pick through.

Prices here are roughly double what you would pay at other thrift stores in the area, but it's still a thrift store and you will still buy a cart full of stuff.

Lots of DVD players, glassware, Christian vinyl, and gadgets.

More books than most thrift stores, and newer titles.

Most of the coffee mugs were $2.99, compared to .99 cents everywhere else.

Worth a visit.”

“It was my first time here. Lots of great stuff but some is a bit pricey. Malisa was so sweet and helpful and took the time to help me find a skirt. The cashier Brett was also friendly. I will be coming here again.”
