“Absolutely love this place! I’ve been skating here for over 15 years. George is fantastic and has some great stories if you get the chance to chat with him. The only downside? That guy in the shop/park—pretty sure his name is Lennon. I’ve never had a positive interaction with him; total mongo pusher.
Despite that, I still highly recommend Modern as a great skate park for anyone looking to progress or just learn—plus, you can always count on George’s engaging personality to brighten your day!”

“Bought a pair of Dunham shoes for my husband who works in a plant and has severe plantar fasciitis and two different sized feet. We have wasted close to a thousand dollars over the last five years trying to find shoes that don’t cause my husband severe pain. Dave had my husband try on five different shoes multiple times until he found the right fit. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly and the shoes are American made! I highly recommend this store to anyone that has difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable and fit properly. We will definitely go back to Footwear Footcare in the future.”

“Stopped at Harbor Freight and got what I was looking for! As a whole the Hoover 11 Shopping Center has a decent selection of retail stores. They could do a better job keeping the entire place a bit cleaner. That can be said about a lot of shopping centers though. It was not busy at all when I last visited. If you need something from one of the retail stores there definitely stop by. You should be able to find what you are looking for.”
