“Bought a pair of Dunham shoes for my husband who works in a plant and has severe plantar fasciitis and two different sized feet. We have wasted close to a thousand dollars over the last five years trying to find shoes that don’t cause my husband severe pain. Dave had my husband try on five different shoes multiple times until he found the right fit. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and friendly and the shoes are American made! I highly recommend this store to anyone that has difficulty finding shoes that are comfortable and fit properly. We will definitely go back to Footwear Footcare in the future.”

“Absolutely love this place! I’ve been skating here for over 15 years. George is fantastic and has some great stories if you get the chance to chat with him. The only downside? That guy in the shop/park—pretty sure his name is Lennon. I’ve never had a positive interaction with him; total mongo pusher.
Despite that, I still highly recommend Modern as a great skate park for anyone looking to progress or just learn—plus, you can always count on George’s engaging personality to brighten your day!”

“Amazing work and attention to detail at a reasonable price.
The souls on my riding boots (motorcycle) were very worn so I took them in to have new souls put on.
They far exceeded my expectations, new souls, re dyed the boots (they were very weather beaten to where they were gray and no longer black) and even repainted the metal clips on the bottom of the boot for my rain gear to attach to.
Not often now a days to have a business exceed expectations like Factory Finish did.

“Jade and her team at Red Wing are absolutely fantastic at helping you find the right shoe. I had bought the wrong size online and went in store to try a size up. Jade went above and beyond what I could have ever expected, and I was able to get my new shoes as soon as they got delivered. She's very kind and helpful, and their step/foot shape calculator is really helpful if you typically need insoles or have a different gait. They also do accept Red Wing for business vouchers as well! So if you work in the area and aren't sure what kind of shoe your job needs and you have a voucher, go in tell her or her team about your work and they can help you out!”

“Stopped at Harbor Freight and got what I was looking for! As a whole the Hoover 11 Shopping Center has a decent selection of retail stores. They could do a better job keeping the entire place a bit cleaner. That can be said about a lot of shopping centers though. It was not busy at all when I last visited. If you need something from one of the retail stores there definitely stop by. You should be able to find what you are looking for.”
“This sombrero was my grandfathers. I brought it back from Guatemala when I went out there in March it’s about a little over 15 years old and in extremely bad conditions as you could tell in the picture. I had went to Rodriguez Vaqueruta In hopes of restoring it. After taking a look, he did let me know that there wood be a risk in ruining the tejana, I told him I would put it in his hands to see how far he would go. And I’m so glad I did!
