Their attention to detail, care and communication was outstanding. Before discharge, the team did a phenomenal job explaining Frankie’s medication schedule, healing process and long term recommendations. Dr. Dan checked on Frankie numerous times via text after he was discharged, quickly answering our questions and putting our minds at ease. Phone calls do seem to have a little wait time on hold, but once you're the one on the phone with them, you'll understand why. “I had a sick Guinea Pig that needed help on a Saturday morning. Finding a vet or animal hospital on a weekday that will see a Guinea Pig isn’t easy so finding someone on a Saturday morning for an emergency was looking pretty hopeless. Not only did Doctor see my Guinea Pig at 9:30am on a Saturday for an emergency, he gave my boy a thorough examination. My sweet boy hated every minute of it but he got to convalesce at home in extreme comfort and was tended to for days afterwards so I hope I made it up to him. Doctor prescribed and showed me how to administer the liquid antibiotics (which I had done wrong in the past with another pig). He gave me valuable tips. I’ve had several Guinea Pigs and had I not gotten some professional medical help, I’m not sure my boy would have made it through the weekend. He was spiraling fast. One of the biggest mistakes people make with sick Guinea Pigs is waiting too long to intervene. They are prey animals and hide illness well. So, thank you thank you thank you for helping Little Pig. He’s such a sweet boy and he’s feeling much better.”

“I have been going to the Veterinary Medical Hospital since the 80's for all my dogs, back when the older gentlemen owned the business. Which was ran wonderfully. He was humorous, gentle, very kind, concerned, and caring toward the pets. Since then, a new owner or the business has been passed down to a new generation. However, the hospital seems a bit rushed and not as compassionate as before. I took my dog there yesterday for a check-up, tooth exam, and a booster. When I entered the exam room, I was asked to put my dog on the scale and my dog being nervous, he squirmed and wouldn't stay still on the scale. The Doctor said "Oh he is 7.5 lbs." I tried to explain to the doctor that I had just weighed him in the waiting room and he was 6.2 lbs. He ignored me and continued to say "Yeah must have gained weight" He jotted down the inaccurate weight and proceeded to look in my dogs mouth. The doctor forcefully pried his mouth open and said "Yup he's going to need all of his teeth pulled." The doctor had NO compassion. I felt rushed, and bothersome to him. He was more concerned about getting to the next room. Then my dog's bad teeth and bad breath. So, now I am very concerned about having him perform the extractions on my dog of ten years of age. I have heard that there can be serious complications with him being older. I wasn't given a pamphlet or a printout about the procedure. I was not satisfied with this visit AT ALL! As I said before, I've been coming here for over twenty years and I have noticed a decline in their customer services and compassion toward the animals. I will give them four starts for the previous years I have been coming there and no stars for my current visit. I think they need to either get more staff or add longer hours to accommodate everyone with compassion and concern.”
