“Where to begin. I was out shopping for a birthday and Xmas. Stopped in Pigeon in the Parlour because I was not finding anything I was looking.
Upon entering I was greeted by three wonderful ladies. They made sure I knew about several things they had in the store and then let me start looking. They were so helpful, yet not pushy. I ended up finding several items and they wrapped and put everything in very nice gift bags, without me asking that it be done.
The prices were very reasonable to me after being in several other stores that day in a few other towns that were really expensive.
The layout of everything made it easy to shop and there are two floors to the business.
I know I would never have gotten this type of personal service at a mall.
There is clothing, purses, soaps, lotions, candles, home decor, jewelry and many more things.
I highly recommend going and taking a look, you will be glad you did. It’s especially nice for men looking for something special for any lady they need a gift for.”
“Delightful little shop with upscale merchandise and a cozy hometown feel. It's a small shop filled with beautiful displays, unusual gifts and trendy home items. The upstairs has a charming collection of children's clothing and novelty gifts that you'll not find elsewhere in the area. Prices were a bit high but not unexpected for the quality of merchandise. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to take a photo of the outside of the building, but in-shop photos were not allowed.”
“I was invited to go to Fired Up Ceramics with a group of women, and I have to admit I was a little hesitant to go because of their reviews and my ability to paint. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the owner and her worker were, and how patient they were with me. I had such a great time I went back the following day and finished my project. I can’t wait to go again. I definitely recommend Fired Up Ceramics if you’re a newby or someone that is a pro. You will definitely enjoy yourself.”

“This store is an up-scale boutique. Its organized, beautiful, and sells really nice furniture. She has home decor and jewelery, too. There's alot of nice merchandise to look at. I'm very impressed by everything!”
“My husband & I come in here frequently for fabric specifically and since it's colder out with winter approaching I have noticed this location of Joanns has way more pricey anti pill fleece than blizzard fleece. My opinion is to have equal in both. Your anti pill section also has a lot more patterns to choose from. Blizzard fleece is more budget friendly for anybody wanting to do charity donations on fleece blankets for the season.”
“Being as they are going out of business, they have lots of the same things. However, some of their staff is super knowledgeable and helpful while some are just there for a job.
They did have lots of fabric (lots of flannel and fleece mostly). It was slim pickings for other types of fabric. They were at 20-50% off as of 3/18/25. Most fabrics were 20-30% off.
I didn't visit the seasonal sections, but saw plenty of variety while watching people's carts.”

“The Barnhouse is worth the visit! If you are looking for something to add to a collection, vintage or new, you are sure to find it here! They have everything from the macabre (a porcelain doll arm in a glass casket) to the sweet (vintage lace and quilts). You can get your mudic vibe on with vintage records (when did the 80's become vintage). Have fun walking through the many rooms with your complementary coffee and candy!”
