“Just wanted to say I have always had a great experience here with the staff. They are a great group of people. My young son and I went today and he is obsessed with the reptiles and fish. A staff member by the name of Kat noticed this and offered to let him see a Halloween crab he was interested in. Even though we were not looking to purchase. Very cool! It’s little things like this that makes me a returning customer.”

“Staff was very accommodating towards my people aggresive dog.I had trouble finding someone who was willing to trim his nails and give him a full bath and blow out until I called one day to ask if we could try giving him a nail trim and grind.Very kind people who were willing to give it a go. My white german shepherds coat has never shined so bright before and I can't wait to make the next appointment.”
“I like the variety and availability of puppy stuff. Staff overall is pretty good and helpful. I’ve noticed some staff are more helpful than others but I don’t have any complaints.
I did have to do a return and tried to complete that online, but the refund never went thru so I’ll have to drive up to the store to get that figured out (but that’s a corporate issue and not the alpine store itself). I really like the online deals.”
“I bought 2 ferrets that were bonded from here and they gave me all kinds of stuff to go with them because they were the only ferrets there. The people were so nice. I would definitely recommend it and even possibly go back and purchase again.”
“Staff went above and beyond by doing the research to make sure I had the correct product for my new pet. Everyone was super kind and it was an awesome process getting set up with what I needed :)”
“I must say, my favorite girl for all inquires for my 7 animals, 4 cats , 3 dogs, 'BROOK' at NORTHLAND Dr location. She is always way over the top to help me with all my needs! Great personality, and so so helpful ! I'm so glad she's still at this location and she seems so happy working here !”
“Great staff! Self wash station was clean & has multiolr stalls. Good nail trimming. Fair pricing. Awesome selection of treats, food, and accessories. Pet friendly & doesn't smell like pee.”
“I love this store it is primarily a man's shopping store but they do sell women's clothing.
The main thing I remember from this, and no laughing this does show my age, are in the 90s when all we had was dial-up internet I'm buying online was not a thing yet one looked forward to receiving their favorite monthly clothing magazine in the mail and among several one of them was Orvis.
I have to admit walking through this store brought back so many memories I had Beyond even thought about in 25 years.... thanks God now I really feel the old!”

“We've been bringing our large Aussiedoodlesfor about a year and couldn't be happier. Have recommended to all my friends and family in the area. Prices are great too!”
“Honest review here - I DO NOT do my primary dog/cat shopping here. It is more occasional, don't need anything but dog/cat food. What this place deserves 5 stars for is the Pet Wash & Vet/Nail/Leash Training, etc clinics. We have 3 dogs, so the doggy spa bill @ $60+/dog is a little steep. They do 2 for 1 on Weds, get all three washed for 1/10th of the spa cost, and the best part is, NO MESS AT HOME!!We adopted a cat last year and needed her checked by a vet within a certain time frame. Everywhere close was 2+ weeks out for a new pet visit unless we brought her into emergency (more $$$). Called Chow Hound, found out another location had a walk-in clinic that day. We were able to get her a clean bill of health and safely bring her into our home.Support this business!”
“Some items are a bit overpriced but it is convenient and sales are pretty good.—> TIP: dog washes are best do-it-yourself in town.—> TIP: dog wash closes half hour before store. Call ahead & ask how full they are; it helps!—> TIP: treats, brushes, combs, & nail trimmers are available for the bath (towels & forced air dryer also).”
“They almost made me feel guilty for adopting a "difficult " dog. I understand they want to make sure it's a good placement and that I fully understand what I'm getting myself into, but when I said I would take him, the counselor kind of threw up her hands and said "ok! But it's going to be months before you can pet him or do anything with him!" I adopted him anyway and 2 weeks later, he is adjusting nicely...goes for walks, is home trained, sleeps in his kennel...and let's me pet him and give him kisses.”
“Stopped into the store to buy a heat lamp for a bearded dragon yesterday around 4pm and when I say it was such a pleasant experience it really was!!! I wish I would have gotten the Ladies name who helped us, even while she was training a new employee because she was so so so nice! She was helpful, full of knowledge of the products in the store, and honestly it was just such a top notch customer service experience!! Give her a raise, she’s amazing!!”
“Love-Love -Love YPN! They actually care about your pet. They are not a chain store that hires kids that are just watching the clock, they know their stuff-and have it in stock.”
