“You have to have a Costco membership to purchase this gas. You’ll need to insert your membership card before paying with debit or credit card (VISA only). Costco has the cheapest gasoline across the country so I don’t mind paying for the membership because it pays for itself in the long run”
“I cannot believe I am this excited about a gas station but here we are. I heard about the new Fast Lane Rewards program on 93.5 WHMI during my morning drive and I decided to stop in and check it out. I am honestly blown away.
Signing up took maybe twenty seconds and I was already saving money the very next time I filled up. No confusing rules, no tricks, just real savings every time I buy fuel. It feels like finding free money.
The station itself is clean, the pumps work perfectly, and the staff is extremely friendly. The employee at the counter explained the rewards program like he was letting me in on a secret that everyone should know about. Prices are fair and the store has everything I need for the road.
If you drive past this Sunoco without using Fast Lane Rewards you are missing out.
This place has officially become my go to.”

“I don’t usually leave gas station reviews, but the Marathon in Pinckney, MI absolutely demands praise.
I pulled in to fill up my battle-worn, slightly rattling 2008 VW Golf (half rust, half personality), and what I thought would be a quick fuel stop turned into something more… spiritual.
First off, the liquor selection is absurdly good. Like, suspiciously good. I’ve seen actual liquor stores with less range. Whiskey, vodka, tequila, the weird flavored stuff your cousin drinks—it’s all here. And don’t even get me started on the walk-in beer cooler. It’s basically a polar expedition meets adult beverage wonderland. I walked in for a six-pack and came out seriously rethinking my weekend plans (and maybe my life choices).
Also, I might be spending too much time in that cooler. My therapist says we’ll circle back to that.
But here’s the kicker—the groceries. This isn’t your typical sad gas station snack wall. We’re talking full-on grocery inventory. Produce. Pantry staples. Dairy that doesn’t expire tomorrow. I saw a bag of frozen shrimp that looked shockingly legitimate. Honestly, if you’re still doing your shopping at a “normal” grocery store, you might be doing it wrong. Marathon has the vibe of a place that understands your needs, especially when those needs are snacks, booze, and maybe a frozen pizza or two.
TLDR: Come for the gas, stay for the groceries, the beer cave, and a deeply personal reckoning about how often you’re at a gas station.
Oh, and get the twist cone at Cap’n Frosty across the road. Your Golf would want that for you.

“Stopped here for some gas which was priced tremendously lower then across the street. Walked in for some snacks had a bunch of 2 for deals, and they made fresh coffee for me while I filled up. Amazing customer service and crazy that they have a couple bad reviews , but then again their from one person.”

Instead of getting upset at the selfless staff who look out for their community, I kept my mouth shut and internalized what I was told.
Now I'm gainfully employed, regularly bathing, and have disciplined my spending so that I never have to split payment for my fuel between 3 gift cards and a roll of nickels.

The night staff was beyond amazing—they didn’t just help us with a jump start, but also welcomed us inside to warm up while we figured things out.
