“Just a shout out for my new automotive mechanic shop Lakewood Automotive LLC!
I had a bid on putting brakes on my van, last week by the dealership, they told me I needed new brakes on the front and on the back $1,400.
So I went around to get bids on new brakes.
Stopped at Lakewood automotive on Lakewood Blvd.
He said $900 to $1,000.
So I made the appointment for them to be replaced today.
Now for the great news. They went to pull things apart and evidently there's nothing wrong with the back breaks.
They still have 60% life left of them.
My bill was only was $475.00
Now that's some great news.
Honest great service.
Very nice overall,this would be my choice to do any future automobile repairs.

“I took our family van through the Express Interior Cleaning and was so thankful for the finished product. Trent welcomed me right away and didn’t make me feel the least bit embarrassed about the state of our van 😅 Nick, the manager, was incredibly helpful and explained the whole process so I knew exactly what to expect.
I also really appreciated that the belt isn’t nearly as intimidating as the exterior wash, it’s wider than the car, you don’t have to be in a perfect spot, and you’re still guided on. Such a great experience all around!”

“We were travelling up US31 pulling our Fifth Wheel and this station fit the bill. Seperate island area for semi's and Rvs which was nice. Sure wish Google Maps was more friendly for Rvs and people towing travel trailers and fifth wheels.”

My only complaint was that with the very easy opportunity for local support/spectating there were not many local folks cheering from their lawns. Maybe one day our sport will receive the attention it deserves. 10/10 recommended”

“20250710 The first pump didn't work... it would pump the gas into the tank. I tried it twice. When I got into my car to move to another pump, I realized that the car was still running. Not sure if that's the reason why the pump didn't work. I changed pumps anyway, just in case, and the pump worked. I did turn the car off. Anyway, the only complaint I have is THE GAS PRICES ARE EXPENSIVE! $4.369 ?. Maybe it's a Michigan thing? I went with convenient and hot gas before I head toward home tomorrow. Maybe I should have gone to Costco Gas?”

“I've always had good service at this location. The store has always been clean for the amount of business that was going through it at the time. The staff has always been friendly. When they were not overwhelmed by customers they had a chance to interact and Converse with customers while maintaining the customer flow and the workload at hand. They have always been very polite as well as consider it while keeping a professional attitude they read their customers interact with them accordingly. The popcorn is delicious and they have a great selection of what I call slushies”
“Speedway on Chicago Drive in Holland turned out to be one of those pleasant surprises you don’t expect from a quick roadside stop. We pulled in to use the restroom and grab a snack, and it ended up being one of the cleanest, most well‑kept convenience stores we’ve visited in a while. The restrooms were spotless, which is always appreciated when you’re on the road, and the whole facility felt well cared for from the moment we walked in.
There was no shortage of snacks and drinks to choose from. Speedway has always carried a wide range of options, but this location seemed especially well stocked. From cold drinks and energy boosters to chips, candy, and quick bites, everything was easy to find and neatly organized. It made our short stop simple and stress‑free.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, the kind of team that makes even a quick visit feel pleasant. What really stood out, though, was something I’ve never seen at any other Speedway: an on‑site laundry facility. It’s a unique feature that sets this location apart, especially for travelers, truck drivers, or anyone who needs a convenient place to freshen up while on the go. It’s rare to find that kind of added convenience at a gas station, and it shows that this Speedway goes a step beyond the basics.
Overall, this was a clean, friendly, and surprisingly well‑equipped stop. Whether you’re just grabbing a snack or need something more unexpected like laundry services, this Speedway delivers more than you’d expect from a quick roadside visit. We were glad we stopped in and would happily return the next time we’re in the area.”

“Not sure how you review a gas station. Pulled up, swiped my card, pumped my gas , and left. A little nostalgic visiting this gas station. Growing up in Wakauzoo wood this was place to bike bikes for snacks, candys , pop, ect. In high school had friend who worked here and loitered here quite often.”
“We went to the location on the east beltline in Grand Rapids Michigan. It was probably the best experience I've had at a gas station before. The staff was incredibly friendly there were two ladies behind the counter who greeted literally everyone who walked in and were super helpful and quick. Also the store looked immaculately clean. I've never seen a glass a gas station that clean.”

“The facilities were clean. They had forks and knives and a clean microwave to heat up and eat your own food. All the pumps are in working conditions.
Regular gas was 4.26 a gallon today”

This place is nothing like it use to be. This place use to be scary to visit with employees that were CIRCUS FREAKS and I avoided stopping in unless I absolutely had to. Now, this place has a new owner and employees that are polite and professional. They cleaned the place up and put some money into renovations and changed some things around. Went from a 1 star dive stop to 5 star stop in less than a year. BONUS is that there are no more scary CIRCUS FREAKS.”
