“Very nice hotel with lots of fun onsite between the pool, arcade games, and table games such as ping pong. The hot tub had an awesome waterfall feature and it was a very large indoor as well as outdoor hot tub. The breakfast selection was good, though we were very bummed as were other guests the usual sausage gravy was never present. The staff was extremely kind and helpful as well as professional yet socially fun.The only true negative was the sheer business of the hotel. Friday night consisted of 2 separate kids birthday parties and a family reunion and Saturday was just the family reunion going strong and other regular guests. If you can come on a weekday that would be ideal. The very cool feature of adult only hours sounded promising to be relaxing but in reality it turned into an obnoxious frat party with 20+ people in the hot tub belting out the lyrics of "I kissed a girl" by Katy Perry and ping pong balls everywhere.I still highly recommend this hotel though. I would come back and aim for a less busy time.”

“Top one or two Hampton Inn in the state, easy! My whole family loves it here. Staff is awesome, and big shout out to Big Rob! He signed my daughter’s cast when she broke her arm. Great place to stay.”

“Quirky rooms, all different. You are asked to clean up your own rooms (empty trash, do dishes) when leaving. Great location on the lake and walk to the state beach, General Store, 2 close eating places. Climb the stairs to top of the dunes. Kayak rentals and sm beach 2 doors down. Love the salt water pool the best.”

“My stay of 8 months has been as if they made the hotel a home on the road for me and my wife.Quiet evenings and easy to access all accommodations. Room is equipped with all necessities for long stay and short.Staff was always impeccable at maintaining anything needed and very pleasant to deal with.This was a great place to live/stay and anyone else with consideration should not think twice. Construction is taking place with renovations but very little impact or inconvenience to guest stay.”

“Great spot. Never stayed at a home2suites before and was pleasantly surprises. My specific room had 2 queens, pull out couch, and kitchenette. The room was kept up nicely staff was good. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast. Only thing is they turn off electricity to the room so in winter it can start off pretty cold but warms up fairly quickly.Nearby activities: In a busy area and everything seemed within 5-10 mins of hotel.”

“So I am CURRENTLY staying at this hotel overnight. I’m loving my stay! The gentlemen who is here later at night at the front desk (I forgot his name but I do remember he’s a veteran, just pointing out so credit about him goes where is due) has been super helpful and has made our stay feel more like we were staying with family. The only issue we had was our first room was a conjoined room with other guests… now this wouldn’t normally be too much of an issue but I wish we were told ahead of time like when we made the reservation over the phone. ALTHOUGH the gentleman at the front desk was very understanding. All we had to say was it was our anniversary and there were kids next door and he politely and thankfully moved us all the way to the other side of the hotel which I greatly appreciated. With that being said I can confirm that both of these rooms are SPOTLESS since I saw two rooms. Absolutely plan on coming back. I also rarely leave good reviews because I’m one of those people so this means this place over exceeded my expectations.Rooms: Spacious and clean.Nearby activities: There’s literally anything you want within 10 minutes or less.”

“Hitchhiking traveler, showed up without enough for a security deposit with my service animal (no papers). Was willing to pay the pet fee, but it was waived. I did not have enough for the deposit, that was also waived. Shaved, showered, feeling great, wopila tonka, Lakota for Heartfelt appreciation.”

“I don't understand the negative reviews. My husband has stayed here a month for work. Melinda is Awesome!! The hotel is clean, safe, and close to everything in Holland. This is an extended stay hotel. Rooms have a full size fridge, range and microwave. There is no free breakfast or a pool. Again.... This is an extended stay hotel. The rooms are budget friendly because it's more like home. You make your own food, wash your own laundry, provide yourself with basic essentials. My husband has traveled for work for several years. He has stayed in a lot of hotels, this is great place to stay. I/we would return to this hotel again. Oh, did I say how Awesome Melinda was? Don't read the negative reviews just rent the room.”

“The pool was so cold & the hot tub was broken, so no bubbles & my bath water is hotter. All the kids used the hot tub as their pool. The rooms were nice & clean & big. The pillows & bed are very comfortable.”
