    “This is my go to store for its convenience. While checking out on February 21 in the afternoon the cashier asked if I found everything. I mentioned an item that I needed. She left and came back with it as they were restocking and she knew where it was. I felt she went above and beyond her duties by listening to my needs and even opened the door to help me out. Staff is always pleasant and helpful at this Dollar General.”

    “This is a fantastic location. The best one in all of Lansing! The lady who did my pick up order tonight was fabulous! From the moment I walked in she did nothing but help her customers and did it with a smile on her face! She even double bagged my items and tied it , because the items I had were heavy.I will not shop at any other location from now on. Every other location seems to have really angry people working at all times and they make the shopping experience horrible! It really matters how the employees treat people and this lady has it down pat! I wish I would have gotten her name just so I could tell her manager how awesome she was!”

    “Adequate housing facility, despite the aging infrastructure. Hallways have lingering cigarette smoke scent, despite the building being smoke free for many years. Management on premises during workdays and times is very convenient. Maintenance is prompt and efficient. Laundry facilities on premises as well as. vending aumachines. Very few if not at all any community events are held. The limited bus service, especially on Sundays is cause for concern.”

    “There was a couple very nice ladies working this morning, who helped me with a coupon issue. They went above and beyond When they absolutely did not have to. They didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience and explained the app to me without talking down to me one bit or making me feel stupid for not being to tech savvy. The store is clean and well stocked with all kinds of supplies you need and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about where things are, to help you with your shopping. I do come here often to pick up miscellaneous stuff because it's close to home and I can easily be in and out quickly. There's usually no big line to be checked out like some other places I visit. I appreciate the system they have in place.”
