“Clean location for both people and animals. Plenty of parking, with numerous camping spots available — most, if not all, include 30 and 50 amp hookups along with water hook up’s. On-site dump station is also available when needed. The grounds are well maintained, and the facilities are kept clean and in great condition.”
“I had an exceptional experience at the Crowne Plaza in Lansing, and I want to specifically recognize Victor at the front desk for going above and beyond.
Due to some severe weather, we had to arrive a day earlier than planned, which created a few complications with our reservation. Victor took the time to patiently work through everything with us, nearly 45 minutes, and made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless. He was even able to keep us in the same room and smoothly continue our reservation without any hassle.
What truly stood out was Victor’s attitude. He was friendly, positive, and genuinely invested in helping us. On top of that, he offered great local recommendations and made us feel very welcome.

“We have been the Willowicke Inn a few times. All for different occasions. Sooney and Mike (Owners) exceeded all expectations! Our last visit was for a wedding. The rooms in the Inn are clean and well appointed. The hot tub and pool area helped us relax in the evening. The barn was set up perfectly but the grounds are meticulously kept and are beautiful. The animals on the property, the large bonfire area and the miles of trails through 50 acres (mostly wooded) make this place special! I would recommend it to anyone!”
“We enjoyed a night away at the English Inn a few weeks ago. We ate in the pub and the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We stayed in the croquet cottage which was very nice - clean, quiet, the bed was very comfortable and there was a giant jacuzzi tub in the bathroom to unwind in. I felt very pampered with a night of luxury close to home.”
“We attended their New Years Eve event and the kids had a blast. There were lots of things for kids of all ages. We had unlimited jump and laser tag, but also had access to the arcade which the kids enjoyed playing in. The balloon drop and juice toast was great added fun.”
“I had my daughters open house here, and it was a great venue. The club members were friendly and helpful. Our bartender was Kim she was very good. I would definitely hold another event here. I also found out they have rummage sales and serve a German dinner. Great place!!”

“I've only been there to do open swim.The pool seemed fine, but for some reason, there was very loud music playing, which I'm sure contributed to my 19 month old granddaughter being nervous. Kids playing loudly was totally expected, but the loud music was unnecessary.Plan to try again because we'd like to get her into swimming lessons.There also wasn't any clear signage about changing areas or anything. Just signs saying to shower first, but the shower water was ice cold, and the door didn't lock either. Hopefully, we just went to the wrong place.I'll definitely be looking into other options. Basically, we went through a lot (getting everything together, buying new swim diapers, loading up, driving, and paying money) just to be disappointed.”

“Myself, husband and 2 children stayed here June 19-20 and then again, today June 25-26. The first visit was seamless although my kids were disappointed by the pool closure during our first night. We were traveling to Manistee Michigan to break up our trip to and from Pittsburgh. This is a dog friendly hotel, some of the rooms have a lot of pet dander residue left over and our first room on the second stay reeked of wet dog and tons of pet fur that wasn't properly cleaned. Staff immediately changed our room or offered a full refund. Amazing customer service. We greatly appreciated the accommodations without issue.”
“I always love going to the Lansing Center: always so tastefully appointed. However, today, November 12, 2025, for the 30th Annual MiMTSS Conference, it was very chilly and I wore a shell underneath a lined Nike track suit. SEVERAL attendees commented on the uncomfortable chill. The second issue was that there was not the convenience of outlets present in the Main Hall or in the concourse. The ones in the concourse/hallway were spread out and inconvenient to attendees being in the Main Hall and needing to charge their devices. My device was fully charged upon arrival but needed recharging halfway through the day and I had to leave it charging at a vendor table and she kept an eye on it while I went back inside the Main Hall. Large charging stations inside the Main Hall or large power banks for the convenience of attendees would be super-helpful!”
“Great atmosphere. Plenty of pool tables. Food was outstanding. Service was superb. Ambiance was quiet, relaxing. They have a great selection of alcohol drinks and the bartender(s) were quick and great drinks. They have bands on occasion.”

“The room I got was very spacious. I had a mini kitchen and living room along with the TV doing a 360. The bathroom was very nice it was like a mini house. The staff was very understanding and fixed things on their end to get my reservation active. I recommend this hotel and look forward to going again in the near future.”

On our wedding day, every single detail was absolutely perfect. It was clear how much care and passion Carmen puts into making each wedding special. She truly went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our day with our family and friends.
The food was phenomenal! We received so many compliments from our guests, and I highly recommend the Tuscan chicken—it was absolutely delicious.
