“I'm new to the area and began shopping here regularly for extra food using my EBT card. I think the cashier who regularly checks me out is named Kensington. She's always so helpful and accommodating. One day I went shopping with a couple of people who picked up a bunch of food only to start rearranging it and removing items. She was really cool to help them get the items they wanted and didn't bother them about items being put back. She is efficient and quick, too.
Sometimes the items they sell are expired.”
“Their tacos are amazing and so delicious!!I’d give 5 stars if they had a register at the food court but they don’t so customers have to go to grocery store register and pay there and come back.Also they don’t speak good English so there’s miscommunication easily like…we ordered 5 de asada & 2 al pastor for us and we somehow got 5 al pastor & 5 de asada. So make sure double check if they got your order right (Do not repeat, they’ll make it double the order so make it right at 1st try.. ).They also don't listen when you ask for light sour cream or crispy tortilla..You still get lots of sour cream (I do sour cream on the side now) and they actually made my tortillas crispy once out of 5 times..?And I LOVE THEIR MEXICAN GREEN ONIONS?‼️ I really wish they can sell it on the side (already asked but he said they don’t do it that way) so I can add more for later. The seasoning is so yummy!! I never had Mexican green onions before since it just looked so big etc….but it smelled so good so I gave it a try. Thank God I tried!! I’m in love….?At the end of the day their food is amazing! That’s why we’ll come back even though they don’t honor your requests nor has a register. It’s that good! ???I was barely able to take a picture for my tacos only when I first went there…after that? I didn’t make it because I was busy eating? Had no time to take photos after that..LOL”

“I have had many good experiences at Hardings, many of the workers are friendly and kind. Like the older ladies that work at the customer service desk. Also the young man that works there with his mother. All of these people are kind and respectful to me when I shop here The older two gentleman whom works at the deli are also kind. I'm a regular customer, I buy food and stop by to return pop cans here all the time. I live in the concord apartments, I have a lease for a year and have been here for a year. But I have also experienced discrimination at this store twice now. One I am not homeless, even if I was that's how you would treat a living being it's disgusting. See not everyone agrees with treating people unfairly. I was not lotering I bought a pack of cigs and a pop. I normally would have rested in the deli for a few minutes Due to my pregnancy. But I decided to sit outside because I have agoraphobia. The only exercises I have been approved of is walking at this time. So instead of wasting money we walk up to the stores. I was in pain and I was told by my doctor to rest when this occurs it's a normal part of pregnancy. That's what I was doing not just sitting around begging for anything. Second I might look younger, but I'm actually 31 so plenty old enough to take care of myself. I would like to see all of the workers become friendly, since your logo says friendly market place.”

“They have nice fresh veggies and fruits , today first time I saw okra ( bhindi) though bit high priced but it’s nice they have them.
Store on West Main is really good though I am not sure of their replenishment times. If we need extra they do get from warehouse especially green veggies.”

“This is my favorite local store to support, they genuinely care about their customers :) I know firsthand, they stopped me from being kidnapped when I was 8 years old, had me hop over the counter and they called police! If that isn’t enough, they’re one of the earliest places open and have a wide variety of selections from prebiotic water to the latest celsius flavors. I love this place and will always come back ?”

“The store is great. It has a lot to offer and you can't dislike the Tamale Kitchen counter in the back. Fantastic food. I've never had a bad experience. I have noticed that the store clerks have commented on my ID twice. The first time was an older nice gentleman who said my ID was bright and clean for it being issued in 2022. The second time was a young kid today who was suspicious if it was me in the ID and asked if it was mine. Kind of flabbergasted since I've never been asked that before. The guy seemed pretty young and I, a 31 year old, felt a little perplexed at the fact he was questioning the legitimacy of my ID. I've never been asked that before. Besides that, I've pleased with my experiences here.”

“This store is amazing! They have the cheapest and best tasting gluten free options in the kalamazoo area. Every time I go here, the store is always clean and well stocked no matter how busy they are. The staff is super nice and knowledgeable. The parking lot sucks big time(they definitely need more parking). The only bummer is that there are not more locations. Trade Joe's seriously needs to get on top of the grocery industry(expand all over US), because they know how to do it right!”
