βthe woman working today around noon was so kind. i have the worst anxiety and going to the store is a chore in itself for me and i broke a glass item and she was still so kind to me and helpful as well as kind to the other customers. she deserves a raise for sureβ

βGreat for hard to find items a traditional grocer like Hardingβs doesnβt carry! The staples are quite a bit pricier but this is an independently owned and operated local business. Thereβs a heavy focus on local and healthy products. The deli is absolutely amazing and usually by far the most veggie / vegan friendly selection in the area. Plenty of parking in the huge lot thatβs shared with a fantastic coffee shop and itβs right across the street from a beautiful little lakeside park.β

βI was at the checkout and the lovely cashier asked how my day was going. I responded with, "Not well, since my sweet old dog is soon going over the rainbow bridge and my husband of 53 years has dementia and is in a nursing home." I was given the warmest comfort hug from this very compassionate woman. My thanks for the extra care and warmth. I won't forget!β
βOne of those gems that delivers selection of about everything at reasonable prices. Local grown produce, breads,meats, beverages, consistently. Highly recommend!β
βQuality grocery items, excellent meat counter with Boar's Head products that are packed in a small footprint. Baggers bring groceries to your vehicle, easy in and out, staff are very friendly and helpful. Once the manager went out of his way to search for a specialty item for me. Different experience than the big box stores.β

βNice very well stocked grocery store. We usually don't come here since they're more expensive and we prefer Meijer but we thought we'd see if their pumpkin pies were better and were shocked to see they didn't have any pumpkin pies!! ? they had a bunch of fruit pies but it seems really odd in the fall not to have any pumpkin pie - not even one!β
βNot just for businesses! Buying bulk here in conjunction with our vacuum sealer we save a ton of money. Just made a 14" chicken, bacon, BBQ, pizza with peppers, onions, and pineapple for just under 6 bucks getting some ingredients here.β
βHardings is a good place for meat. Other products are more expensive compared to bigger stores. But their meat prices are sometimes even lower than bigger stores.β

βAlways good to come in and get whatever I need. Decent selection of items, the only problem is the foot traffic. It is usually hard to navigate the isles because of how thin they are compared to how many people visit.β
βSmall store. They didnβt have everything we like, but a lot of natural items that we buy on a regular basis. Very friendly staff who tried to help in any way they can. This is a co-op. I do like supporting organizations like this, in addition to getting a discount price on things.β

βFriendly service, prices are i admit like others, little high. I prefere other food products they don't carrie as well. So I typically do not go here much. They start taking cans back at 1pmβ
βThe owner or employee, whoever helped me with my meat and checkout, was extremely polite and kind. The meat was a good quality at a good price. My daughter loved the juices available. Alhamdulillah.β
βThis store is one I went to many times. I have been going off and on since the sixties, it has changed some in that time but still is a familiar place. Usually has good deals on meat.β
βWestnedge North of i94 Aldi is much bigger and is always stocked with the Newest items.
Isle of Shame is normally stocked on Tuesday/Wednesday and gone by Sat/Sun.
This Aldi has the best and friendlyest workers.
Veggies are normally fresher then Aldi south of I94.β
βMy meal tasted so nostalgicβ¦ gave me Deja vuβ¦ made me feel young again haha. This food is so yummy. And he gave me so much food for only $7.50! I had to stop eating and leave a review because I was just taken aback by how healthy it made me feel. Super cool family run shop! Cheesecake is phenomenal, so much better than anything Iβve had from the store or at a βfancyβrestaurant. I ate both pieces. Well worth it haha. Iβm going to be bringing my family here soon to pick out their own treats. I canβt wait to try their other stuff on the menu. So many options. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!! β€οΈβ

From the moment I walked in, Phoenix made me feel not only welcome but genuinely valued as a customer. She offered me a personal tour of the store, walking me through each section with thoughtful recommendations and helpful tips.
What really stood out was her warmth, attentiveness, and enthusiasm. Itβs rare to come across someone who not only knows the store inside and out but also clearly takes pride in creating a positive experience for others. Phoenix didnβt just assist meβshe went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable and at ease, as though I were being welcomed into someoneβs home rather than just shopping at a store.
Her exceptional service and friendly, approachable attitude truly made my visit memorable. Phoenix is a shining example of what excellent customer service looks like, and Hardingβs is incredibly lucky to have her on the team.

She looked around and located the item! She made a little girl extremely happy and I am in awe by the friendliness of this stores employees! Thank you so much!β

βThe service is always great and I hate to say this out loud because I don’t want to share but they have some of the best butter chicken I have ever had!! Have to have it at least once a week!β
βIt's very clean and well lit, the employees are always working hard but I have a few gripes. 1. Doing bottle deposit is frustrating as they have an older unit in the back or something so every can needs to be rinsed out or they won't take it. I understand it's probably because sugar gunks things up quickly. 2. The shelves are stocked but sometimes there's weird omissions to brand flavors. 3. They seemingly only have one sign about being towed at only 1 entrance/exit and it just states that anyone can be towed
Otherwise to add some more compliments, the sushi here is really good, they prepare the sushi in store every day, and lastly the pharmacy employees are super nice.β
βI have had many good experiences at Hardings, many of the workers are friendly and kind. Like the older ladies that work at the customer service desk. Also the young man that works there with his mother. All of these people are kind and respectful to me when I shop here The older two gentleman whom works at the deli are also kind. I'm a regular customer, I buy food and stop by to return pop cans here all the time. I live in the concord apartments, I have a lease for a year and have been here for a year. But I have also experienced discrimination at this store twice now. One I am not homeless, even if I was that's how you would treat a living being it's disgusting. See not everyone agrees with treating people unfairly. I was not lotering I bought a pack of cigs and a pop. I normally would have rested in the deli for a few minutes Due to my pregnancy. But I decided to sit outside because I have agoraphobia. The only exercises I have been approved of is walking at this time. So instead of wasting money we walk up to the stores. I was in pain and I was told by my doctor to rest when this occurs it's a normal part of pregnancy. That's what I was doing not just sitting around begging for anything. Second I might look younger, but I'm actually 31 so plenty old enough to take care of myself. I would like to see all of the workers become friendly, since your logo says friendly market place.β
βPrices are a little steep, but you can find things here that are difficult to find elsewhere. I especially like their Artisan mac and cheese and meatballs with canned Swedish sauce.β
βSouthwest Market is more than just a convenience storeβitβs a place built on people and positive energy. Every time I walk in, Iβm greeted with friendliness and respect. The owner has a great spirit, and we shared genuine laughter that made the whole experience feel real and welcoming.
Even while I was there, the beverage delivery guy joined in on the good vibesβwe all connected, smiling and laughing. That kind of atmosphere is rare. You can feel the energy as soon as you step inside.
This place runs smooth because of the people behind it. Good energy brings good energy, and Southwest Market delivers that every time. I highly recommend stopping in and supporting them. Five stars all day.β
βStore is easy to nagivate. Many prepared meal items, all have been flavorful w good texture, ex mini quiche, scallop potatos, sandwiches, @ check out, packers group items appropriately in each bag, and will automatically plan to carry bags out to your car, very much appreciated!β

βThey have nice fresh veggies and fruits , today first time I saw okra ( bhindi) though bit high priced but itβs nice they have them.
Store on West Main is really good though I am not sure of their replenishment times. If we need extra they do get from warehouse especially green veggies.β
