“I had to get a wire transfer done late on a Friday afternoon. The recipient did not feel it could be done by close of business, and I would have to return the next day. This would have involved a major inconvenience for everyone. However, I explained the situation to Maria P, and she was able to expedite the wire transfer, and I was done just prior to close of business. Great service !”

“I had a problem with a check that was stolen, washed and rewritten to an unknown person and the amount had been changed from $20 to $500 and it had been a mobile deposit. I went into the credit Union and they were all very helpful. My checking acct was closed and a new one opened. We had to notify Social Security to give them the new acct number. Hopefully, they can find out who did this. Very pleased working with Sue and Krista.”

Adventure credit union is not like them Adventure credit union is far more better. And only costs $5.00 to open a account ! You will not find that in other credit unions in grand rapids”
“I've been banking with the credit union since before it was called LMCU, and I've always been very happy with my service at any branch that I have visited, but I particularly like this branch. The staff are always friendly and handle everything that comes up for the whole family. Terry handled our mortgage needs when we switched our mortgage from a different institution, and he made the transition painless and efficient. We also have accounts to help our adult son with special needs, and the staff helped us navigate the intricacies involved with that type of account too. When my daughter had her account information stolen, the staff quickly went into action, replaced her card, reversed the fraudulent transactions, and helped her resume banking. Even when a staffer does not quite know how to handle our questions or needs, the staffer quickly finds the answer for us and explains it to us in plain terms. I could not be happier with the service at this branch.”

“I want to let everyone know about the amazing service and genuine kindness and willingness to help from the staff... in particular, Anita. (I am so sorry if I mis-spelled your name) - My father passed away last November, and my grandmother recently a few months ago... I have been catching up payments on things and she was so warm towards me the last time. Today I went in again with another teller and Anita saw me, remembered me from the last time, asked how I was, and when the hold times on the phone were taking longer than expected, she threw on an extra headset to help even though she was not the original person helping me with today's visit.
This kind of sincere effort truly deserves to be recognized in every manner, because it is this decency that seems to be more elusive to find each day. Anita, thank you - thank you to everyone at the LMCU 44th street location. I waited for about 45mins there while on hold (to no fault of anyone) waiting for another department authorization (busy Saturday) but never realized the time until I got back to my car because of how much I was noticing the staff's efforts to try and make my experience smoother and quicker - in particular Anita's.
