“This is one of my favorite places to stop, the lunch chicken is delicious and a great local delicacy for gas station choices, I'm dying to try the chive potatoes, the bathroom is clean and the best part is the staff! Whoever does the hiring give them a raise because these amazing people have helped make my day on more than one occasion. The are warm, friendly, polite, and professional!! Plus I've seen them cleaning the food areas almost everytime I'm in the building. Love this little local gem!”

“Its inside the grocery store. Excellent food! I'd eat here every day if I could lol, the tacos and gorditas were my favorite but everything's delicious! Best gorditas I've ever had they were different in a good way. The Tripa meat is some of the best I've ever tasted. The Al Pastor was great too! Their meats were flavored perfectly. My friend tried one of their al pastor tacos for the first time and she's hooked lol Highly recommend ??!! You can taco yourself to death here lol! I wish they were closer. I enjoyed my food and wish I had gotten more lol ?”
“I love the people who work here. Always a friendly experience. The products are somewhat overpriced but you can shop for deals AND I only shop there to keep from driving for 30 minutes to go to Meijer or Walmart.”
“first visit to Villalobos after friend referral and enjoyed great taco mexicanos, tostadas, beans and rice. Steak and chorizo tacos were full of meat, fresh cilantro and onions in a crispy grilled tortilla topped with tasty green and red sauce. Staff was very friendly and helpful - will return soon for the legendary burritos!”

“Since the new upgrades to the store have been done, it looks so much cleaner and organized. The prices are great too for a hometown market. I went in today thinking that I'd be paying well over $200 for my groceries and it ended up being $160. I was pleasantly surprised at that! Keep up the great work, it's showing.?”
“This store could get a 5 star if they took better control of their parking. While there really isn't a way to control what the customers do, they certainly can fix the employee's parking. Most small businesses don't think about a vehicle bigger than the normal car.”

“I visit this Dollar General almost every time I am visiting family in Decatur. It is the cleanest, organized and well stocked Dollar General I have ever visited. The staff is always helpful and courteous. I would especially like to recognize the manager Angela(who seems to be working every time I go). She is the sweetest, most helpful and knowledgeable gal. Hardworking employees are sometimes difficult to come by. I’m always happy to see her knowing the service will be pleasant and absolutely impeccable.”

“As the only general store in Lawrence, you can expect that this Dollar General can get immensely busy. And that it does. One of the bigger DG's that I've been to, it has the same products you would expect at your normal Dollar General, with a few more added so the locals won't have to travel to Hartford or Paw Paw very often. The workers here are very knowledgeable about the Lawrence area and were happy to answer our questions. However, if you are not a local as I am not, then this is the perfect stop to refresh on snacks, drinks, and essentials so you can get back on the road all the more quickly.”
