“I have never had Basturma. To be honest I've never heard of Basturma. But while I'm Michigan I had to visit this deli due to many of my friends and families advice. So we went. We looked around for a few minutes and a friend asked the butcher to try some Basturma. He immediately obliged. Grabbed the red log of meat and let us all try it. It's good.It's a cured and salted beef seasoned with Çemen. Çemen is a made from a paste of ground fenugreek seeds, chili powder and mashed garlic. Some people described it as a salty taste but to me it had a kind of spicy black pepper taste. You should try it as soon as you can.They had other meats there and freezers full of treats and drinks. I don't know if who we dealt with was the owner or not but he knew what was talking about and had a moustache that would incite jealousy. If you live in the area visit this place immediately. If not, it's worth the trip.I also felt like it was really clean. They also had tables with flowers so you can eat and relax.Parking was adequate and we had no wait times while we were there. We were serviced immediately with joy.”

“Sub was good. But they used the wrong meat i ordered the suicide killer and they used regular turkey meat and regular cheese. It’s supposed to be hot pepper cheese and Cajun turkey. I will probably stick with the Belleville location.”

“I love Holiday Market....but. I'll elaborate. Being European, the diversity of international products, their deli, their bakery (including European chocolates & sweets) and butcher section are nothing short of phenomenal. They even carry my family's favorite German rye bread. Heck, they even have good "store" sushi.Their prepared foods are extensive, diverse, and tasty. Their staff is helpful and mostly friendly. I've never had to wait in line checking out too long, if at all. All that said, be prepared to spend some $$$. I don't think I've ever left there spending less than $40 for a few items.I consider their pricing a notch, maybe two, less than "Whole Paycheck (Foods)" with a more diverse assortment. That's why I dinged them a star. Excellent selection and quality, but be prepared to apply for a small bank loan before heading there. ?”

“Super clean and bright. The lady behind the counter was cute and super friendly. The store is kept nice, the parking lot is a bit messy, but I don't imagine you can keep up around there. Easy parking and easy in and out. They have a bit of everything and will make you feel like a family friend. A+ on everything. Awesome management.”

“Purchased a 10 pound 1/2 bone in ham. When I cooked the ham I noticed that the ham didn’t have the traditional sugar and honey crust. The outside of the ham was very dark, almost black. The flavor of the ham was the same as usual but we all missed the honey baked crust.Experience at the store was excellent. Service and facility are great. We buy here often and will continue to do so.”

“The service was friendly. I ordered the Suicide Killer Sub and asked them to add jalapeno. It is fresh and made to order. The sandwich was well-seasoned and tasted fine. It's a standard sandwich but $10 is a little high for a sub shop in the back of a party store. There is pizza and other hot food to go by the check-out counter.”
