    “We're all running in and out of the Stores that are Convenient to us so, they become a Blur when we know what we're looking for.. and with today's society you can't even get a Hi out of anybody, so what stood out to me was that the Employees were actually being a little talkative.. not overly, and actually looked at you in your eyes ..and for a moment it felt like Community again, people don't really talk to each other anymore”

    “Passing through and staying in this neighborhood for a week, I found myself settling into a slower, more observant rhythm, walking, noticing, taking in the little details that make a place feel like home, even if only for a short while. One of the things I truly appreciated was having a Dollar General within walking distance. It became one of those small comforts you don’t realize you need until it’s right there. On one of my walks, I stopped in, not expecting much, just a quick visit for a few essentials, but I left feeling happy. The store was well organized, which made everything easy to find without wandering too long, and there was a surprisingly wide variety of products. It felt practical, but also thoughtfully stocked. The cashier was warm and friendly, the kind of interaction that shifts a simple errand into something a little more meaningful. For anyone staying nearby or just passing through, it’s a convenient and welcoming stop.”
