Remember being hit on the knuckles with a #2 pencil hurt like hell. We played Chinese checkers and sang old school songs like London bridge or old mcdonald. they have vacation bible school”

A most beautiful Holy Roman Catholic Church.If you are looking for a Catholic Church that doesn't have a concert band with drums and guitars blasting away during Holy Mass or a bunch of irreverent chatter-box parishioners having social hour before mass begins Assumption Grotto is a Church you will be happy you attended.The Holy reverence before, during and after mass will allow you to pray without distractions; something that is lacking in so many Catholic Churches.There is also a communion rail and kneeling for the reception of our Lord in the Holy Eucharist!I highly recommend Assumption Grotto.”

“My daughter was married here in July, 2008. This church is absolutely magnificent, the wedding was beautiful and the entire atmosphere of the Holy Mass, the marriage ceremony ~ EVERYthing was respectful, true to the Liturgy, and absolutely perfect in every detail.What a wonderful experience from that day that I will always remember.I see that they have the Traditional Latin Mass there and whenever I am able I will certainly be in attendance ~ we live in the suburbs so it will be a drive, but that's not important.God bless...and may He keep this parish in His Sacred Heart always!!”

“I grew up in this church in the early 70's. My family was dirt poor. I had a faithful mother a praying mother a mother who put God 1st! I remember all 8 of us taking turns ringing the bell durning the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. My mom made each of us take up a different type of instrument just so we can play and sing to get bigger donations. We often stood at the Kmart location on Plymouth and Southfield fwy. Need less to say we would always need additional kettles brought out to our site because of people's generosity! I remember camp and girl guards and sunbeams. If it wasn't for these experiences I would be the person I am.”

“A beautiful Hindu temple. It is very well maintained and clean. You can peacefully do your prayers and if anyone wants to do special prayers they priest are there to help you with that.The temple also has a marriage hall if anyone wants to have their marriage done according to hindu customs.There is ample amount of parking for visitors.I have noticed that there is no ramp at the main entrance for wheelchair access. I may be wrong. If so, please feel free to let me know and I will change the review accordingly.”

“Grace hosted a special event which I attended. Signing in and making a donation took far too long and began to be uncomfortable. The rest of my visit was very comfortable. It was lightly raining, and it was noticeable that people took advantage of dropping passengers off under the canopy. There is plenty of free parking, handicap parking, and handicap access. Their seating was comfortable considering the event was a couple hours long. The audio and video was very good. The cafe looked like it was closed after the event, but I went in to see what was on the menu anyway. I was warmly greeted and eventually got a delicious hot chocolate.”
