“It is an antique store and so much more: multiple kinds of smoked fish available, real snowshoes, UP made jams, coffees, a family artist makes amazing snowshoe with stained glass or fish for rustic wall hangings. There are a few cookie cutter souvenirs if that's what you are looking for. But definitely stop if you want personal service, fish by the pound, vintage fishing lures, antique household wares and kids goodies, with a touch of hometown lore thrown in. You can find something different with each visit. King's and Clyde's and both on my MUST do list!”

“Wish we would’ve read the reviews before stopping here so we would’ve known to get our smoked fish from here!
We stopped in along our drive north and picked up a bag of pecans that were so good, we stopped in again less than a week later to buy another pound. They were so good! The owner said they were from her family’s farm in Georgia.
She was super friendly and was patient with the young children ahead of us in line. We’ll definitely stop back here on our next trip to the UP and will plan to try their smoked fish next time too!”

If I'm getting gas, or snacks, everyone has been very friendly, and happy. It's always clean - and that's a huge compliment with the amount of traffic they get there.
I've had my car worked on a few times, also - so I can honestly comment on the shop and the people, and they are awesome! I can honestly say that I feel safer driving around since having my car worked on, and they go above and beyond to help save some money, time, or both. They never complained when I used to pop in for air in my tire all the time (before I was able to get a new one).
I've been treated so well here, and send everyone I know here if they need work done.
(Don't tell my boss - because I work in a different gas station one town over... I will send our customers over if they need a garage, or if our store runs out of something like bags of ice ? )
