“Friendly little family owned Shop. Nice food selection. Better than you would expect. Great sandwiches, I love the pulled pork and the fried chicken. It's hard to leave without a couple of fresh baked cookies. Wonderful people. I'm there almost every day. Always a comfortable environment. Be warned tho, if your not hungry the smell in the air will definitely bring out your appetite...”

“It's a nice store. Clean and organized. I really like this store but I'll be honest there's a lot of improvement to be made. Coffee is weak, sandwiches are pretty expensive for what they are. The best food is found on the roller grill, or in a bag.Opening hours vary. Because some people don't show up to work on time.”

“Shop here pretty regularly. I know most of the people who work there. I buy certain items when they have sales, and I always get my pork shops there with bone in. They have the best ones around. Friendly service is a must to me, and they have that. Stores need to remember to take time for minimal conversations. It shows you actually care. I would be sad if hardings wasn't there.”

“This place is a Godsend in the area. The employees are all wonderful. The store is clean. They try to keep some things at reasonable prices, which is so appreciated by this local. The wine and beer selection is well curated. And again, so important for the area, they have enough reasonably priced items to put together a family meal.”

“Best sandwiches we have ever had! My boys got the BLT and I got a club type. Takes a while because it is fresh and the bread is to die for! We will for sure be back!”

“This is a whole in the wall type of place. Tucked back into a little party store. My family was on vacation, and they all wanted pizza. It was the 4th of July. So, not much was open. Looked up and ordered from here. To my surprise, my pizza was delicious. Everyone enjoyed it. The person on the phone seemed annoyed we were calling to order food. And when I picked it up, she seemed un happy, and never looked us in the eyes. She never said thank you. Otherwise, a great surprise place in the middle of nowhere. Pretty good price also.”

“I typically will go to Meijer, Aldi or even occasionally the St. Joseph location of Martins for groceries. I was already in the area so stopping by for a bathroom break and quick snack from Martin's in Stevensville was convenient. Inside they have a Caribou Coffee to get drinks while shopping. They also have their famous SideDoor cafe, which provides hot food like rotisserie chickens, macaroni & cheese, fries, fried chicken and the beloved hoosier fries. Some cold options are also available but for me the draw has always been the panini sandwiches. Delicious bakery items are also available on top of the standard grocery store items. Bathrooms are clean, staff is friendly, and lots of choice options. Biggest down side is how far this location is from me, but the second downside is you do tend to pay a touch more than other spots closer to me. I'll come back, but maybe not for a bit.”

“The ladies there are super friendly. And always there. It's nice having the familiarity and that down home feel. Kim's rough around the edges, but you know what ?? That makes her awesome! She's so spunky and I love it. All of the ladies there are absolutely wonderful!!”

“My husband and I were buying something to get cash back off our card.... We could not get enough, so the employee actually gave us $5 out of her own pocket. Ughhhhhgh I cannot remember her name, but she was working last night (February 16th) probably around 8 or 830pm. We will be back to return the $5. It was greatly appreciated!!!! There usually aren't good people like her around very often. Thank you again!! Very kind woman. ????”

“When I visit friends for a weekend in Michigan, I always stop at Sawyer Market before heading home. They have a great selection of local produce, a kitchen gadget store, gift store, a garden center and terrific staff.”

“It is a great place to find antiques and collectibles. Expansive and eclectic curation of items. Curious grounds with wonderful stone statues. As a reseller, prices tend to be higher than a steal, but if you specialize in specific items, you can add to niche offerings. Owners are very nice and will bargain reasonably with respect.Hours may vary as they admit that they are attending to other things in life, so we try and go mid-day on the weekends.”

“The Baroda Dollar General sets a high bar when it comes to friendly customer service & a well maintained, bright, clean & very organized atmosphere both inside & outside the store. It’s a rare occasion when an item isn’t where it should be, & even more unusual to have a cart / box that hasn’t been dealt with. We’ve been to more than a few DG’s in our area, & the contrast in difference is stark, & serves as a reminderthat when someone actually cares, it’s not just obvious but pleasingly a very nice shopping experience. “In rural America the best diners take cash and close at 2 pm. After that, the hungry traveler looks for a grocery store for victuals and, if the weather permits, a local park for a picnic. So it was that Google directed me to this "grocery store". Dark magic it was then when I walked in and found myself ordering a latte (with an extra shot) and a wonderful almond croissant! I hope this little treasure is kept in business by the locals. They should be proud of it.”
