“I visited with a friend who hadn't purchased a new suit in 30 years. We had just left men's wearhouse which was a disaster.The salesperson's name was Jason, and he could not have been more courteous or respectful. My friend is retired, and of limited means. I immediately let him know that my friend was not interested in anything over $400. He read his client perfectly, and helped select the perfect suit.My friend would never have chosen von maur on his own, but they have made a client for life.Thank you Jason and Von Maur!”

“Super excited to find what I was looking for at a great price. This store has some excellent outdoor merchandise. Managed to find a three piece concrete dragon statue. Great artwork, statues and collectibles for reasonable prices. I wish I lived closer but it's worth the drive. Employees at checkout are courteous and helpful. They carefully wrap your purchases for protection too. Excellent location.”

“My favorite store to shop and look around. Always neat and most of the staff is nice.There is an older lady that has been working there for a while, mainly in beauty dept with curly short light brown/blonde hair and glasses who is extremely rude and always has an attitude. On several occasions, I’ve had her follow me and has been vocal about customers getting in her way while I was browsing, and not even touching any product. Finally, I confronted her about her comment and asked if I was bothering her. She did not even apologize and instead deflected that she was just venting that customers are messing up her section. Lady, if you are unhappy with your place of employment or what you do, please do not take it out on customers who are helping keeping the business open and you employed. Nonetheless, I chose to rate 4 stars for the shopping experience (minus 1 for rude beauty dept employee) and I will still continue to shop because I enjoy the variety of items they have and good prices.”

“It was stocked well probably because of the holiday but everything was neat and orderly. The line was long, but it moved pretty fast as they actually had enough cashiers. It's one of my favorites to go to.”

“Very clean store. Very well stocked and organized. As the name says, most items can be found around $2 or less. Staff is super friendly and courteous. Quality is a questionable but it is what you get for what you pay. I use this store more for disposable and partyware. They have assorted varieties of balloons that meet your every parth need.”

“I ordered $900 heels that I needed for this weekend and when they arrived I thought they were a pair that the store used for people to try on bc the bottom was scuffed and “worn” looking but the heel was fine and the shoe sticker was in new condition so I was like ok they aren’t used but the bottom is just messed up but I’m defiantly not gonna accept it and didn’t want to even bother to call Nordstrom.com and waste a few hours of yelling at them for a $20 e-gift card or maybe even less compensation so I decided to just return them and take the loss and be humble and get an average priced heel for my event, when I tried to return them obviously the sales person (wish I remembered his name bc he always helps me and also exceeds my expectations) needed to call a manager, the manager claimed that someone taped the bottom wore them and returned them, I was so confused bc even if someone wore them how do they still look “new”, George the manager exceeded my expectations and actually showed concern by both of us going back and fourth assuming what happened and he wanted to find a resolution although deep down both of us knew there wasn’t one. I already have low expectations in multiple areas at Nordstrom instore (mostly somerset) and online, so for George to actually care and be just as confused as how these got to my door in this condition is something that I’m not used and I felt so much better and appreciate the customer service I received today, thanks George and the other guy that helped me tonight.
My kid also wanted a ballon but there were no pink ones out and there was 1 sales person helping someone and I didn’t want to wait so I asked a lady that had a phone scanner in her hand and this lovely lady said she hasn’t made a ballon but she’ll try for us and she actually went in the back and came out with a pink ballon for us, absolutely changed my expectations of Nordstrom after dealing with this location today, thank you so so so much for the GREAT service!”

“Was trying to exchange gifts I had received; however, they did not have my size. Robert in the shoe department was extremely helpful. He even tried checking other stores and online for me, to no avail. I did not have "gift" receipts for the shoes and 2 pairs of jeans I needed to exchange. I ended up getting Kohl's gift cards that had no expiration. They were on sale, which caused a few dollars less on the cards. Robert was so helpful and kind. Even told me to come back on Wednesday; it's Senior's Day lol for me.”

“Hello shoppers, where do I start? First of all, I'm disappointed to hear that Big Lots is closing a significant amount of stores, I've come to rely on them for my decorations for the holidays. I went to one of their newer stores, opened w/in 2 years ago, the service I received was great, the store was well stocked and the holiday collection was easy to locate. I hope by some miracle, the stores that aren't on the chopping block, will remain around for years to come.”

“This is now my first stop on grocery shopping day. Almost everything is $1.25 and they have name brands. Great for items like body soap, aspirin, allergy, pain meds, reading glasses, wrapping paper & gift cards, Mylar balloons, cleaning supplies, glassware, crafts and school Projects/office supplies, aluminum warming pans. Their friendly staff goes out of their way to help each customer. Now I only have to go to the grocery store to purchase items that Dollar Tree did not have! Excellent value!”

“I had a mishap at the register while checking out on Dec, 11-2024. I left disappointed this day, because Meijer's is my favorite place for shopping. When I got home later on this day, I checked my email, and Meijer's had sent me a survey. I decided to fill out the survey explaining my mishap and The manager William Hall responded quickly in a matter of hours. He apologized for the mishap and told me to come in and ask for him, and he would give me a $10 happy card! I've never heard about a happy card before, and I responded that a happy card would definitely make me happy. So, I went back to Meijer's on Dec 24-24 to do my last minute Christmas shopping, and I asked for Mr. William Hall. an employee who was very nice, lead me to him, and I walked up to and said hello, my name is Stephanie, and you told me to come in and get my $1000, happy card. He looked at me and laughed really hard, and said oh no, I didn't say that! even though I was teasing Mr. Hall, he had a great since of humor and personality. He then took me to the service desk and had someone to give me my happy card, and I'm still happy about this on Christmas morning. Please take the time out to fill out surveys for any stores if you're not satisfied, because you'll never know what kind of compensation you will receive for customer satisfaction. I've enclosed a picture of my happy card, because I'm a happy and satisfied customer of Meijer's.”

“I never had an experience like this before, but I went with my husband to buy white dress shirts. I recently had spine surgery and my stamina, strength and pain tolerance is not optimal. While he was shopping I moved a stack of shirts over from a low table and sat down. Now, I admit I was 100% wrong for doing this. A salesman walks over and aggressively says get off the table you’re sitting on shirts. I proceed to tell him I’m not and I needed a moment because at this time I’m disabled. He repeats the statement again with the same tone. I lean on my cane to get up which I was in the process of doing anyway. I meant no offense to the hard working people who have to go behind customers all day cleaning up messes. I place the shirts back and he stalks off. My husband was furious at the way this man aggressively spoke to me. It obviously should’ve been handled with grace, considering I had a cane. We did not make a fuss and I placed the stack of shirts back that I moved and I told my husband, “let’s go.” This man working in the men’s department on 3/1 was clearly not happy or was just having a bad day. After I posted this review I got a response from the general manager and I and I would like to say I really appreciate the follow up and in no way do I now feel that this one person is a reflection on the entire company. I absolutely have changed my rating due to her response. Thank you so much!!”

“I rarely go to Marshall's because the store is so messy most of the time. And now, I am so done going through racks of clothing. But I was there yesterday to check out their luggage, and I must say it was so nicely organized and updated. Good job.

P.S. I was still in and out in 10 minutes, lol, cause like I said, I cannot handle going through the racks of clothes, as tempted as I was, and didn't want any purses or household items. Checked the luggage, their prices, and out I was. No, didn't buy any either.”

“It's kept as clean and well stocked as a short staffed business can. The restocking people are trying the best they can. But it's a huge place and it's not easy pushing around a pallet mover through customer traffic and putting the product in the shelves in neat order is very hard to do. Try it sometime. Good luck. No I don't work there but I did work in a warehouse which is really what Meijers is only it has registers at the front and allows the public to roam around all day every day.”

“Five below always has a great selection of nicely priced items. One of the problems I have is that they took out all of the registers and put u-scan in but now you can't scan your own items because people still in the cashier still has to come and stand there and scan your items, just a little bit weird!”
