“When I needed a place to store belongings, they we're the cheapest. I suggest going on their website, $56/month(smaller unit) was definitely the cheapest around.”
“Had to give the most recent interaction a full 5 star experience specifically because of how little the worker actually cared about retaining a customer. To think it has been just one year since I left a fantastic review of the same exact employee!! I signed up for a 10X10 unit back in November of 2024 and in that time my rates have experienced two different rate increases. Going up over 30 dollars in price in less than a year. If you value your money and want to be informed of price increases the way that Compass contacts you about everything else, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT sign up to store your valuables at this storage facility. You will be in for a very rude awakening, I hope this helps the good people of the East Lansing area save their hard earned money! (:”

They really answer the phone 24/7 (Even on a major holiday- 4 of July) 🇺🇸 Not only that, they are so incredibly professional. Moving can be stressful and each time I called every single representative I spoke with went above and beyond was extremely understanding and efficient in in helping me. When I realized they were going to be there for me no matter what I just relaxed I didn't worry anymore about anything going wrong . This is an incredible company. I went to the website rented a unit. Got the entry codes by email all in under 10 minutes. I didn't have to go into an office or talk with anyone. It was all taken care of and any questions I had. I just called the customer service.

“Used Axs Dewitt for about a year while changing homes. Very pleased with the customer service. Units were dry and pest free. We rented a 10 x 10 unit and price was reasonable. 24/7 access was easy with gated access. I would rent from them again and highly recommend if you need temporary storage.”

“The place is nice clean no complaints about my storage unit, the only issue I have is that the prices have been right raising up because I only paid $65 the one time and that was April and then may I paid $80 which was kind of mind-boggling to me because even though I know most businesses like to do this they like to raise prices up and not get consent from the people first my only fear going forward is that you're going to keep raising up prices I'm in a situation where I can't have you guys keep raising up prices you either have a like set price that we can pay each month or like I'm going to have to like move my stuff to a different storage unit where I'm paying less you know what I'm saying so, no real huge issue I just it's more about the paying monthly bill and hoping that it doesn't raise up”
“I am currently in town visiting Michigan as I am trying to make a big move soon from Boston. I decided to look at a few storage facilities in the east Lansing area while I am here. I was not very impressed with a few of the other facilities as they did not offer what exactly I was looking for. I walked into the office and the manager treated me with a smile on her face she was with another person so she stated that she would be with me as soon as she can and asked if I would like a bottled water while I waited. When she was finished I told her I am looking to rent a storage unit with in the next few months she asked me a series of questions to better fit my needs. She gave me a tour of the facility and showed me many different options she thought would work best for me. I was very happy with how clean and well taken care of this facility is, I really thought the garage area was a great feature to keep out the nasty weather. I was very happy all around and will be returning to speak with Jayme the manager as soon as I have an exact move in date. Thank you again Jayme!”

“Very easy to rent, just keep watch for your first email from them as mine went to junk.
Security cameras on almost every corner of the buildings.
The only issue I had was one of the 2 lockers I rented was difficult to lock up. All in all very responsive if I needed help. I would rent from them again if I needed to.”

All in all it's an ok car way and I was able to wash my large van. The friendly staff in the office earned a few of the stars!”
