“I occasionally tag along with my wife when she goes shopping in downtown Petoskey. We stop in and browse at PEcado during many of those trips. I have a career background in product design and I am always impressed with this store, in its lineup of clothing and accessories, the store design itself, and especially the staff. From my perspective this shop has one of the most progressive and forward looking layouts, displays, and selections in northern Michigan, a smaller scale version of a higher end shop that you could find in the major cities. Likewise the owner and staff are friendly, patient, and professional.Also, I want to give them a shout out based on my first hand experience during the recent 2023 Petoskey Ladies Night Out. Many of the stores were simply horrible to the few guys who were there with their wives/partners. PEcado was one of the select few who were very friendly, kind, and welcoming to those men of which I was one.Based on my experience that evening, I know which stores I will be going to purchase my wife’s Christmas gifts from…PEcado is on that very short list.”

“If you ever go through Petoskey, I would recommend stopping in if you are in need of shoes. They have a huge variety of both women's and men's. I will say the customer service isn't always top notch and their "sale" are doesn't really feel like much of a sale, however, they sell great brand names of shoes, boots and slippers. They have a huge wall of any type of nice socks you might want and there is a small selection of clothing. I have heard complaints about the return policy, but I guess know before you buy.”

“Love most of their selection, I wish the steel toe/work shoes portion was larger and had more sizes. I could only find one pair in my size. But I do love that there is a discount on them when used for work. The employees are always helpful and kind.”

They carry casual to formal wear. Lovely and unique. And a great staff. They are always friendly and helpful.”

“we bought a fishing pole yesterday and we were having a hard time lining it. we went back today without our receipt and the manager found our order in the system and gave us a refund with no problem. 10/10 service, they easily could’ve told us because we didn’t have our receipt on us we couldn’t do anything about it but they went out of their way to help. thanks staff!”
