“The building itself was a bit run down, the parking lot a bit crummy and a small hut overhead that covers 4 of the 6 gas station bays. Main thing is I got my gas here and am satisfied.”
“I don't usually leave reviews but this is the best party store in town! They have the best selection, even some candies I like that are hard to find anywhere else. If you're looking for something, they have it. I appreciate that they refrigerate their 2 liter bottles of pop because most places don't do that for some reason. It's the cleanest gas station I have ever been in and the guys at the counter are awesome! My husband and I talk all the time about how much we like it. So glad we live close by!”

“There was an older gentleman who helped me tonight, I wish I’d gotten his name (short grayish hair, has an accent) when I was buying drinks and snacks, and I had to come on here to praise him. He was the absolute sweetest, and so conversational with me- To the point where I had to mention to him how nice he was because you don’t always get that at gas stations. Out of all of the places around here I could go, I’d come back here solely because of his service, and for how accommodating he was when he didn’t have to be.”

“Never thought I would write a review about a gas station but Valentina deserves it! I started frequenting this Mobil about a month ago and I can’t say enough good things about it, especially Valentina. It doesn't matter if it is 8 o’clock in the morning for 11 o’clock at night she always has a welcoming smile and is just so kind even working as much as she does. Thank you for brightening peoples day Valentina you deserve a raise! Go say hi to her!! Gas station is super clean and has everything you need as well!”

I am compelled to write this review about Alicia, the amazing manager at the Speedway located at Rochester Road and Tiken Road in Rochester Hills, Michigan. She is hands down one of the most impressive employees I have ever encountered in retail!
Alicia is truly a one-woman whirlwind who somehow manages to do it all with grace and efficiency. Whether she's working the register, filling the latte and coffee machines to ensure they're always fresh and full, cleaning up messes around the coffee area, sweeping and mopping the store, or stocking shelves - she handles every task with incredible dedication and attention to detail.
What makes Alicia truly special is her consistently upbeat, friendly personality. She greets us with a genuine smile every single time we visit, and her warm welcome makes us feel like valued customers rather than just another transaction. She has this amazing ability to spot us the moment we walk in and always says hello first, even when we haven't noticed where she is in the store!
Alicia's positive energy is absolutely infectious. Her cheerful demeanor and professional work ethic have made this Speedway location our go-to choice. Honestly, she's one of the main reasons we continue to visit this particular store over other convenient options.
She truly exemplifies what a top-notch employee looks like - someone who takes pride in their work, cares about customer experience, and brings positive energy to every interaction. “I love the convenience of this place. The owner assisted me one day when he noticed my pump was running much slower than normal. Thought that was a nice gesture. It's the simple things that make some places stand out above the rest. I never have any issues with receipts not printing at the pumps either. Cheers and happy re-fueling at this Shell!”

“After calling multiple places to try and get in an oil change and fix the weird noise coming from my car, no other place in the area could take my car for the next week pretty much due to labor shortages. Decided to drive in here on a whim and they took my car right away, explained the work I'd need done and the cost, gave me a ride back to my house and finished within a couple hours. Fair price and great service!”

“The chocolate chip cookies her are amazing. I bought some and had two while pumping. I went back in to grab three more packs. I asked the cashier about them and Jamie said she made them. Look someone for speedway corporate should talk to her about teaching all speedways how to make cookies.”
