“My wife & I are from out of town, but we spend the summers in the StJo area. I have used the UFCU ATM there on a number of ocasions. Yesterday, we visited the ATM before the bank opened. We did all the necessary stuff, but in the end, we received no cash, and the ATM receit showed a withdrawal from our savings. At 9AM, I was there to explain my case, but the manager on duty explained that the bank had no management of the ATM, and I would have to call my bank to recover the cash - since we did not have an account with UFCU. I was obviously upset. However (long story short), the manager was correct. My bank took care of us. My apologies to the manager, who was calm and professional. As it turned out, no funds were transferred. If you use a bank credit or debit card at the ATM, make sure the cards are linked to your checking / and or / saving account. You can call your bank or credit card company to have this arranged.”
