Comfort Suites Southgate-Detroit provides a comfortable and clean stay with friendly and helpful staff. Guests describe the rooms as nice-sized, very clean, and smelling good. The hotel offers many amenities, including a pool, exercise room, laundry, and a complimentary breakfast that is frequently called excellent and good, featuring items like eggs, waffles, sausage, bagels, yogurt, and fruit. Coffee is available all day.
While the staff receives consistent praise for being professional, kind, and excited for guests, the main complaint concerns the pool, which is described as too cold to use. The breakfast is well-regarded, though items can run out, with staff working quickly to refill them. Some services, like late check-out, may be temporarily unavailable. Overall, it is considered a very nice hotel with a reasonable price, leading many guests to state they will definitely return.
Stayed there for opening weekend for Football, I liked the location, breakfast, cleanliness of the room and hotel, and especially the people working there, they made it even better yet. Will stay there again.

You have to ask for new towels as we were staying for 4 days. I shouldn't have to ask. 3 of the 4 days breakfast was so so and the fourth day it was amazing. Probably won't stay there again. A few sleazy people hanging out in the back of the hotel
