“Bought a vanity and countertop last month. The countertop had a weird yellow tint to it and was warped, and the only one they had left was a display which was also a little bit warped. The sales people and the manager were extremely nice, understanding and helpful in the matter and definitely made it right in my opinion. Hopefully we can get this new countertop installed correctly! Thanks so much.”
“This business appears to be focused on high end, quality builders. With whom they appear to have a strong and loyal customer base. They do carry quality products and appear to stay in that lane. I would much rather buy here than say Menards.
This is a long established business, and in many ways feels like it. They appear to stick with the tried-and-true. So I found I had to look elsewhere for the more customized and unique products for my home. (I got my custom ProVia front door from Markin co. And my unusual & high quality siding from Richards - both of these companies were willing to spend the time with an individual home owner to select custom products)
Does not feel like a lot of innovation, or depth of knowledge regarding their product lines or specialty options available. But then they appear to be very busy with their builder customers so what they do must work for them.”
“Never had an issue here. Sometimes it can be hard locating an employee, but little bit of looking and they help right away. Not like they can have a worker in every aisle. I did buy a picnic table from them, and it was missing parts and a piece was damaged. Not their fault, it was prepackaged from whoever supplies them. But they were quick to help me return in. It was their last one, but helped me looked at alternatives in-stock and also what the other nearby stores had. Always friendly people when I have to deal with them.”
“Fun place to just browse! Sometimes I go in just to get ideas for new projects.
They keep a good variety of tools for just about every type of material. Woodworking, sheet steel, plastics, electrical. Just to name a few!!”
“The inside is clean, the product selection is extensive, they have sprockets, chain links, motor oils and other very useful products for working on motorized bikes. The pet section is nice, they sell big dog beds and large bags of food, they also sell toys and treats. There are some motor toys for sale. There are gas and electric yard care products. There are power tools too. The staff are also very nice.”

“When the last Hometown hardware stores available around my area. Best thing about bulmas is is the family business environment, every time I go in there I'm treated like a friend they're not looking to sell you what you don't need their looking to figure out what you need and tell you what they have that will make sure it's a fix. All in all bolama's is my favorite hardware store which is saying something since I have a little bit of a hardware obsession.”

“We were looking for new kitchen cabinets for our cabin. Rebecca in the cabinet department was so helpful! She offered design ideas, ways to save money, and she even helped us wheel the cabinets out and load them! If I could give her 10 stars I would!! We ended up getting the in-stock hickory cabinets. So easy that they were all available and they are beautiful! The price of the hickory cabinets came in less than the in stock (not hickory) cabinets the competitor offers. Highly recommend, what a great experience all around!”

Took a chance at the grand haven store thats now ran by a BOYager. Cannot in good faith call that a MANager.
Treated me like he was an oracle for his vast wealth of knowledge.
Drove on out to spring lake and 5 STARS! Your staff not only helped me find the wrench set for the bolt I brought but restored faith that Ace is the place to be... jjust not in Grand Haven”
