“Perfect location. Snug between 2 beaches. Clean, beautiful property. Kurt, the owner, is fabulous. Very accommodating. Nice pool, clean grills. Choose between Dockers, or The Deck for food and live music.”
“We had the best time staying here over the 4th of July! Shelly made our experience amazing, with yummy breakfast, great conversation, and a very welcoming and warm atmosphere. We were surprised to see how modern and beautifully updated our room was (the pictures really don’t do it justice!). It was walking distance to everything in town, and we really couldn’t have had a better experience! Thank you Shelly!”
“We stayed for two nights got king room with in room whirlpool and courtyard view. Clean quiet and comfortable. Paid small upcharge totally worth it. Good selection at breakfast and even though there seems to be only one person working to keep everything full and available she did an amazing job. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
Nearby activities: Go see the musical fountain really good show”
“Warm and friendly staff … explained the grounds and amenities. Loved the 100 year old structure and the LOCATION is unbeatable. Downtown is close but not too close … a quiet area with the best of the beach. Will definitely stay at the Blue Water Inn the next time we’re in Grand Haven!”
“There is nothing around there and we had to be there because of a power outage at home. They only had part power for about a day . It worked well enough for my papa who is on a breathing machine at night. The breakfast they offer is really neat. I was able to make my papa breakfast myself. Despite the location to nothing and the fact that it looks run down, they keep it very clean. The also have chairs set up outside for smokers thank you for that my papa can't stand for long,it was very helpful. Everyone we seen who worked there were very polite and helpful. They have wonderful workers.”

“I truly wish I had taken pictures before I got settled because the room was VERY clean and well put together! When I had an issue with the microwave, it was taken care of asap! The receptionist who checked me in last night was very friendly and professional. Only thing I wish there was a 50$ deposit so I could have gotten cash. The property is very secure and clean. Ac works great, comfort bed and pillows, and nice hot shower! Today Cassandra was amazing with helping me rebook for another day without issue and even looked out for me. Officially my new favorite hotel in Muskegon. Has 24/lobby and ice access. Community all seem chill and no rowdy guest. Lowkey and very affordable. I pray they keep their prices as such because being homeless right now, this place is a blessing. Only wish they had washer and dryer as a suggestion. Overall no complaints. All new CLEAN appliance. I hope this review brings them more business:)”

“Property is ready to be in the Wyndam or Choice portfolio. On top of dirty rooms the idea that in 2025 a Hampton Inn doesn't have a pantry / market is a deal breaker. But great staff and great breakfast. I paid a premium price expecting that solid Hampton inn experience and I got a Baymont experience”
“Great location and very pretty area. The place is starting to show signs of neglect from being understaffed possibly. Garbage left around pool from the day before, cobwebs. Not enough umbrella's on patio for shade.Beds in the room are comfortable but the pillows were terrible. Overall a nice stay. Would recommend asking for a pool side room as the other side is just a parking lot.”
