Sat at the bar and were treated to conversation and special service by Megan. She brought in the sommelier to pick the right wines . She was a treat to talk with and enjoyed her Rxs. All that said - it's still all about the food. And the celery soup and mixed salad were delightful. My wife then feasted on a wagu steak while I went silent in bliss with a pork belly with a sunny side up egg over mashed potatoes. Food just doesn't get more taste. The olive oil cake melted in la Boca - they even served three tasty candies as an appertif. What a meal and evening says this dedicated gourmand . Thanks wren

MAWBY Sparkling Wines
4519 Elm Valley Road, Suttons BayMy fiancee (now wife) and I hosted our rehearsal dinner here. This was a new venture for the folks at Mawby, but you wouldn't know it. Wife and I loved our experience, and our guests adored the location and their visit. The staff helped us select the exact right amount of wine to purchase ahead of time, and they worked with our caterer to serve a magnificent meal. Not only are they a great location and wine, the staff could not be nicer and such a joy to work with. Thank you all for making our event such an overwhelming success!

Both the wine and ciders were standout—easily one of the best and most thoughtfully curated cider selections in the area, particularly if you appreciate styles that lean refreshingly dry. The property itself is very nice, with comfortable indoor seating, a patio, and a separate space near the tasting room that delivers a laid-back vibe paired with sweeping bay views. A must-visit stop if you appreciate great craft pours in a scenic setting.
