Bayshore Animal Hospital
9400 US-31 North, CharlevoixThe team at Bayshore is awesome! I called as a new “patient” for my dog Theo. Called at 8:30am for an ear issue that ended up being an ear infection. Was able to get a 9:30am appointment that day. Walked in at 9:25. Facility is very clean and bright- felt like a safe place for us to get him cared for. Theo and I went back to the exam room a couple minutes later. The team was very friendly to Theo, got his ear issue figured out, diagnosed, ear drops administered, and brought him back to me a happy dog. The vet, Matthew, came and talked to me and explained what was going on, gave me thorough and detailed instructions for his ear drops, asked me if I had any questions, and thanked us for coming in. Theo and I were checked out and back to my car by 9:40am. Best veterinary experience I have ever had. And one of the best customer service experiences for any business that I have interacted with. This is now Theo’s new home for care. Thank you!

She taught us many techniques to stop her from nipping, jumping and having her stay and walk beside us on the leash. She also helped us with our behavior - not repeating commands, having her sit calmly before opening the door etc We are very grateful for her expertise and her patience with us and our dog. She is very good at what she does.

17959 Ferry Road, CharlevoixHonestly the food and beer is really good, but the bartender was so rude to our group that it soured the entire experience. If you want to enjoy your time here, don’t ask any questions and just know exactly what you have to do.
I said “How’s it going?” and instead of greeting us, she stared like we were a nuisance. We hadn’t been here before, so we didn’t know food was next door. She was visibly upset when we asked for food, and just pointed outside. Upset when we brought up our glasses to the bar to clean our table. She was even upset we asked where to put our pizza box.
As a former server, I understand having a bad day, but don’t take it out on the customers. It wasn’t even busy when we were in there. We were all friendly, and there’s plenty of other options to go in the area that won’t treat you like that.

04434 US-31, CharlevoixThe wine and food were excellent. We left with a box of bottles. The staff, they really cared alot about both, and were unmistakably passionate about it. The service was outstanding by a team of caring people. The facilities seem new, and are just spot on for the beautiful location. Our pup got a barkuterie board and a bowl of water, they couldn't have been more dog friendly. Support this place. They were 100% all around wonderful, everyone that took care of us.
