“As a physical therapist, I know a lot about exercise and in evaluating an exercise program for myself I like to see how knowledgeable the trainers are, and how much personal attention they give the clients taking advantage of the one Week Test Drive Burn Boot Camp offers I was able to observe a few trainers, and all were well trained positive, enthusiastic and supportive I did a CrossFit Boot Camp for five years until the pandemic hit and have been mainly doing gym workouts, running in high intensity, interval, training since then, in searching for a new group to work out with. I was very impressed with the supportive raised floor at Burn Boot Camp. It is a lot easier on the joints which is a definite plus , I think anyone considering the troy camp will find that whatever your fitness level, the trainers always demonstrate modifications of a particular exercise so that you can continue at your own pace and not injure yourself trying to keep up with the more experienced campers, Ron Clinton”

7 month update: have been going to this gym 4days a week on average and it’s a well kept clean gym. It can get a bit busy during evening peak hours on the weekdays but all the gym members are courteous and overall a good vibe. I plan to keep my membership here long term.”

“Updating my review because I feel like the trainers have been much nicer and more aware of their surroundings with clients! Gym is solid — nice cardio equipment, and I rarely find machines broken for more than a week before being fixed. I have found the staff at the front desk and cafe to be SO friendly. Previously I have had trainers kick me off equipment (not during a class - just because they wanted to use it with their client), show disregard for members’ personal space (brushing into you mid set and setting up with a client directly in your personal space with abundant space nearby), and generally show no gym etiquette: they don’t clean equipment after using with clients, don’t re-rack weights, and act as if the non-client members are a nuisance. Update: this hasn't been an issue in 2026 and I really enjoy the gym.”

All of the members have been very warm and welcoming; there's a great sense of support and community. The new Troy facility is spacious, clean and well-equipped. The programming is challenging, yet adaptable for all athlete skill-levels. It's a great CrossFit gym all around. Highly recommend!”
