“I've been at HC now for four months and have had a wonderful experience so far! The coaches are very professional and genuinely care about helping you improve as an athlete. All of the members have been very warm and welcoming; there's a great sense of support and community. The new Troy facility is spacious, clean and well-equipped. The programming is challenging, yet adaptable for all athlete skill-levels. It's a great CrossFit gym all around. Highly recommend!”

“Catalyst has made me look at working out in a whole new way! I have been working out since I was 15, weight training, marathon training, triathlon training, circuit training and I truly have to say at 51 I look and feel the best I ever have. Learning how to become more proficient in my lifts, lifts I never thought I could do. Getting out of my comfort zone more then normal, with the help of the coaches/friends and members/friends. To take a chance on a new place to take a risk made me find my true best friend, my gym wife lol a group of girls I now travel with and share my life with. I would have never had this if I didn’t walk in the door. To be in the middle of a work out and have members/friends stop in their own work out to cheer you on because they know what you are doing is a hard movement or weight to lift for you to help you get threw is an incredible feeling. To hit my one rep max back squat and everyone yelling at you to get it up and YOU DO, and you fall to the ground and you start to cry as your coach/friends hugs you…….is an incredible high.”

“This place is awesome! My favorite part was the mommy and me class. It was run by a PT and was a great way to meet other moms. Plus, you can bring the kids! This gym is so family friendly that it’s great for moms. Haley, Marissa and Beth are so nice, too!”

“I’ve done Orangetheory Royal Oak in the past on and off but have just joined their Transformation Challenge and going more frequently and I am feeling a so much better in general. I want to specifically shout out the front staff and coaches- the front staff are always positive, willing to accommodate, and helpful, they are the backbone of the place. The coaches make the whole system work. JC is a MOTIVATOR. When I take his class, I know I am going to push to be the best version of myself in the workout. Katie is funny, spunky, knows how to show you correct form on the weight floor and is energizing. Kristina is the coach that most inspires me to come in. She genuinely cares and personally confronted me when I was feeling down about my results and she made me feel confident again. She is positive and makes me always want to work harder. The entire staff is extremely skilled at what they do and I am so happy that I came back! Even though I am not the most in shape, I feel like everyone truly wants what is best for me. It isn’t cheap, but worth every penny. Thanks OT Royal Oak, you are and have changed my life for the better.”

“I really liked the gym, spacious, spacious restrooms, luxury look I can say, nice design, I love the mirrors and nice flower decor, sophisticated look...(The lighting is a plus for me, warm friendly to the eyes).The hydromassage beds, nice and private (Has separate area) for each individual (Closed out to yourself) including massage chair room, nice and private too, but separate, I like that,..for black card members; nice and quiet in massage areas, very nice/The lighting is perfect and warm for hard day work out, not too bright for eyes. The Total body has handles you hold on to upright for a great tone workout experience and they still have the 30-minute workout area, which I like.”

Been coming here for a little over a year now - Absolutely love it. I have a lot of appreciation to everyone that work here and to their untiring efforts in making this place what it is. They always welcome you with a smile and they show enthusiasm in their work - the little artwork upfront is icing on the cake. This gym is very clean - I say this after going to multiple planet fitness locations while I’m traveling.

This place is like my second home and the routine faces I see every morning is now like my extended family ?

“Awesome gym, so much space, tons of Rogue gear, huge rig, flooring is wonderful. The coaching is excellent and the WODs were challenging but could be scalable if need be. The owner and his team treated me like a long time member even though I just dropped in for two weeks. An amazing gym to train at with awesome people.”

“As a physical therapist, I know a lot about exercise and in evaluating an exercise program for myself I like to see how knowledgeable the trainers are, and how much personal attention they give the clients taking advantage of the one Week Test Drive Burn Boot Camp offers I was able to observe a few trainers, and all were well trained positive, enthusiastic and supportive I did a CrossFit Boot Camp for five years until the pandemic hit and have been mainly doing gym workouts, running in high intensity, interval, training since then, in searching for a new group to work out with. I was very impressed with the supportive raised floor at Burn Boot Camp. It is a lot easier on the joints which is a definite plus , I think anyone considering the troy camp will find that whatever your fitness level, the trainers always demonstrate modifications of a particular exercise so that you can continue at your own pace and not injure yourself trying to keep up with the more experienced campers, Ron Clinton”

“Great 1 hour workouts that are fun and keep you moving. Very little downtime in-between exercises so it goes by quick! I burn between 800 to 900 calories per session. Treadmill, rower, weights, TRX, floor exercises. All good stuff to keep the heart rate elevated. They have knowledgeable, helpful trainers. Friendly staff. 5 stars!”

“I submit a negative member survey about an issue I had storing my motorcycle helmet (there was no where I was allowed to leave it) the club manager called me and offered me an accomodation. This was amazing to see the management listening to the feedback of their members and finding ways to accommodate them.”

“I found the location at Royal Oak to be pretty clean, with an abundance of benches by the free weights.
The just added 3 barbell squat racks with deadlift platforms for you to squat, bench etc with. Very clean and friendly staff.”

“Have to say. I have been to alot of gyms and this gym is beautiful and clean. The front desk staff was awesome and I love the modern locker rooms. I love the side area with the punching bags and other essential strength and conditioning equipment. Would give it 5 stars but online says 9.99 a month and front desk said 15.99 a month so.”

I’ve learned how to do all the basic lifts with great form and am able to lift more than I ever have. I train with Rachel, who is so friendly, caring and an absolutely awesome coach. “Great Gym to workout in. Depending on the time you go. Early mornings are the better times. Anything after 3pm you have deal with the kids hanging out, sitting on machines/benches or on their phones.
I go early so I don’t deal with all that.
You must wear n listen to your own music. I work out with another person so we don’t wear headphones. What is played is absolutely irritating. Remixed classic rock like club crap. Most morning I keep thinking my ears are bleeding.”
