“I have had nothing but good experiences with Gasow and I am happy to consider them my main vet that I continue to go to. I have brought my cats here for aid for different reasons and they have always done their best to help me and work within my limited budget. Vets are not cheap, but they do understand financial struggles and will do what they can to help you. They truly do care for your pets.
I unfortunately had to let my baby Moon go at the end of May this year and I went to Gasow, with a visit not planned for that, and they took very good care of me and my baby Moon. it was a difficult situation where when I brought him in knowing what was going to happen but I didn't want to believe it. It was the most difficult decision I ever had to make, but the doctor assured me that it would be an ethical treatment for my baby. They took very good care of my baby, let me hold my baby the entire time. They let me keep the blanket my baby was in during the procedure, and they informed me thoroughly of everything that was happening before, during, and after the procedure. The experience of helping my baby Moon no longer be in pain was very difficult but much more comfortable than when we went to OVRS to help my eldest cat pass. The rooms alone were a striking difference. Gasow had a very calm and quiet room with sofas and soft lighting, allowing you to be as comfortable as you can be. OVRS was simply just another vet hospital room with harsh lighting and everything uncomfortable.
When I first brought my cat to Gasow, I knew that my babies would be taken care of and they have continued to build up confidence that they will truly take care of not just your fur babies, but you as well.”
“Best veterinary clinic in SE Michigan. We lived an hour away and still kept going here because it was worth the drive. Our dog Stella loves the staff and how much love/attention they show her. Our other dog Obie struggles with anxiety going to the vet, but they let us bring Stella as his emotional support dog and he does great. 10/10 stars, highly recommend”
“I have been going to this Vet for over 20 years. My two Pomeranian puppies had to get fixed and it broke my heart for them to have to go through this. They understood and tried to make it as pain free and a comfortable process . I recommend to get the healing PJs so your dog doesn’t have to wear a cone !”
“Kimball Animal Hospital has taken care of my fur babies from kittenhood, to navigating end-of-life steps, to everything in between. They're super transparent and educational about treatments, pricing, and how to navigate care at home. They're also quick to respond if I ever call or email with questions or needing an appointment (same day or within a business day at most).
Tony the Vet Tech always tries to check on my black cat Tony, whenever he sees his name on the patient board. Patience and understanding is given to my partner's cat, Major, who gets quite shy outside of the house. Francie prefers to take her exams from the human's chair (as she thinks she's a person) and Dr. Hillman makes her feel right at home.
I recommend KAH to anyone and everyone, friend or stranger! Kindest staff, reassuring to humans, clean facility, easy parking, and excellent treat offerings. (I wish my human doctor was as great as this practice.)”
“This place is exceptional and my experience with the staff was amazing right from the initial phone call.
They were able to see my cat within an hour of calling (I assumed they must not be busy and thus had the time, but they definitely were busy when I showed up!), identified the problem right away and laid out a simple treatment plan that's both easy to follow and extremely inexpensive.
Dr Syed and staff took time to ensure I knew how to proceed going forward and gave me a comprehensive timeline for when I should resume normal activities like brushing, etc.
Everyone I dealt with here were efficient, friendly and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring that I was satisfied with the experience! Well done!”

“My mom has been seeing Dr J for quite a few years and he's great we just brought are new puppy to see Dr j and he and all the girls are awesome couple even came in and was singing to calm her during her shots she didn't even squeek If your looking for a old school vet.Dr J is the man Highly recommend 😀 I'm changing my review only because went we brought ate dog in for a check up They didn't even listen to her heart check temp then we have her fixed and Islington if they find problems with teeth they can be fixed right then but didn't happen So dog was fine till the seizures started and all this came on after her surgery In not saying they did something wrong but. After talking to a neuro doc we find out she had extra 8 teeth and she's blind hmmm seems awful strange then after surgery no follow up calls asking how she was doing well his your up date she's dead, So all I can is do your research It seems it was all about money with this place... She was a good dog to after surgery all the sudden she's blind come on... Thanks for nothing”

“Brought my frenchie here after a traumatic experience elsewhere which led to a non-healing eye ulcer that he’d been battling with for over 2 months. After seeing multiple vets, without much progress, I was feeling frustrated and worried.
After just 2 appointments with Dr. Wilson, his eye is completely healed! I feel so relieved & grateful to have found a clinic who truly has the experience & knowledge I was looking for. My dog was also coming out of a mild IVDD spinal flare up and Dr. Wilson’s willingness to monitor symptoms and take his overall health into consideration was truly exactly what we needed. I highly recommend this place and feel fortunate to have found them!”

“I've been using AAVH for our cats since shortly after moving to Troy in 2010. They have always been very thorough, compassionate, and willing to work with us on the treatment of our cats as they enter their senior years. But this week, I was completely astounded by their care for both me and my cat. On my way to visit them for my cat's monthly injection, I was rear-ended about 1/2 block away. My cat managed to escape his carrier, so he was loose and traumatized and didn't even want ME near him. I called, hoping that I could get some gloves or maybe they could come with a sedative. Dr. Birley and two techs arrived with equipment, got him into a new crate, took him back to the office, relaxed him, checked for injuries, and cleaned him up. Sydney even offered to drop him off at the house if I couldn't make it to them by closing. They eased the burden of a terrible experience, and the care they showed both of us still brings tears to my eyes.”

“Let me tell you about this WONDERFUL office. Our lab ate something he shouldn't have. We called our regular vet who couldn't see him today. We luve close to Centerline Vet and called there to avoid the OUTRAGEOUS cost of emergency care. Emily answered the phone. Oh so friendly and helpful. They took us in right away. Olivia, was so helpful and friendly and then Megan who kept us updated on everything. Again, so friendly. We were in and out with a well dog and Megan even suggested a finance company. What would have been 800.00 in the emergency vet was half that price. . The NICEST people. Dr. Koss eased our mind and saw our dog as soon as we arrived. She is A-MAZING.

“Everyone has always been nice to myself and my family members as well as my furbabies. I’ve been using Shelby Vet for every single furbaby I’ve had since I was 6. The first time I had to experience death was with my first hamster who had a type of infection/possible cancer. I do believe it was Dr Blough that walked me thru the entire process and made it a little less scary and sad. Thank u Dr Blough. Dr Walker has been great with my standard schnauzer Diesel. She treated him with such love and kindness and compassion up until his final breath in Aug of 2022. Dr Walker and Dr Smith have been great with Chance. He’s a bit of an anxiety mess when we have to come but both have been instrumental in getting what we need done. They’ve been great with providing an estimate of what needs to be done before even starting which I appreciate. All of the techs and front staff are excellent. Thank u everyone for all the love y’all show to all the 4-legged and 2-legged clients.”
