“Staff was very accommodating towards my people aggresive dog.I had trouble finding someone who was willing to trim his nails and give him a full bath and blow out until I called one day to ask if we could try giving him a nail trim and grind.Very kind people who were willing to give it a go. My white german shepherds coat has never shined so bright before and I can't wait to make the next appointment.”
“The employees don't seem as knowledgeable as at other pet stores. We bought some fish and one looked a little iffy before we left so we asked about it at the check out and the cashier basically shrugged her shoulders and gave an uncertain explanation for why he looked questionable. Well sure enough the fish died within a week. Thankfully they have a warranty return window for fish so we could replace it for free”
“I like the variety and availability of puppy stuff. Staff overall is pretty good and helpful. I’ve noticed some staff are more helpful than others but I don’t have any complaints.
I did have to do a return and tried to complete that online, but the refund never went thru so I’ll have to drive up to the store to get that figured out (but that’s a corporate issue and not the alpine store itself). I really like the online deals.”
“Great place to go for all of my pet supply needs. Even though they have "hound" in the name, I shop here for cat supplies and they do have other pets covered too. The dog washes are great! The staff is friendly and I have never had an issue shopping here or finding what I need.”
“My german shepherd doesn't do well with most food, but has been doing so well on K9 Kuisine. He drools heavily at meal time. The subscription and delivery service takes out all the hassle at a reasonable price. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. Highly recommended!”
“1st time at this new location. Everything is easily labeled with signs, I was able to walk in find the cat food I was looking for. Cashier was very friendly, asked if I had rewards with them and used my rewards as well. Was in and out in less than 5 minutes with some light browsing to see what else my cats may want ?”
“Pet friendly. Workers are kind and attentive. Very helpful.Just a reminder for visitors: ALWAYS ask for permission to touch someone else's animal. Parents -- please teach this to your children for their own safety AND for that of the animal you do not know.While we were there, we witnessed several children harassing people's pets while the parents absolutely did not care, even when asked to have their kids stop touching a pet.Don't be those people! This is a great store with great employees and nice products. Be nice!”

“I've been coming to this store frequently for over a year for chicken feed, treats, bedding and some dog items too. They have a nice selection of garden supplies and tools as well. Today I stopped in for our chicken feed and 3 different staff members asked if I needed any help. One even offered to load up my car. They were all so friendly! We love this store.”

“They almost made me feel guilty for adopting a "difficult " dog. I understand they want to make sure it's a good placement and that I fully understand what I'm getting myself into, but when I said I would take him, the counselor kind of threw up her hands and said "ok! But it's going to be months before you can pet him or do anything with him!" I adopted him anyway and 2 weeks later, he is adjusting nicely...goes for walks, is home trained, sleeps in his kennel...and let's me pet him and give him kisses.”

“Stopped into the store to buy a heat lamp for a bearded dragon yesterday around 4pm and when I say it was such a pleasant experience it really was!!! I wish I would have gotten the Ladies name who helped us, even while she was training a new employee because she was so so so nice!
