“The short: amazing work from a knowledgeable team that won't guess at a fix. They provide service grounded in integrity and hard work.
The long: my issue started on a Friday morning and I was calling around after my main mechanic couldn't get me in till a week later. Legacy squeezed me in that day and had my water pump diagnosed as the problem, replaced the same day. I had my truck back before they closed. When I picked it up I had a new battery alert that popped up on my way home. It sat through the weekend and I dropped it off Monday morning with the vague description that my battery light gave me a very strong alert. I spoke with them halfway through the day and they were still trying to diagnose it, thinking it could be a finicky alternator. They pushed on with diagnosing the problem and not guessing that it was the alternator. Best case scenario happened and it was a fuse issue known to Ford trucks that overheats and melts the fuse. I had two options, replace the fuse and likely have the issue happen again or they install a part that relocates the fuse to a safer location.
All in all it came out lower than quoted and much lower than my expectations. They are now my preferred mechanic in the area.”
