“Order laundry detergent and bleach from here. The products literally saved old coverlets that had developed a putrid smell during storage. Brava to those products.”

“I love visiting here, the Arc Value Village Bloomington. I love looking at the shoes, the puzzles, the peripheral of the store. I'm not one to look at the clothes necessarily. I love the office supplies, and Knick knacks. It is interesting that I was just at Arc Value Village Richfield earlier today, and they're greeting cards were only $0.25 each , and I came down here to Bloomington Arc Value Village and their greeting cards are 3 for a $1.99. I took several pictures to let you enjoy what I saw today, February 29th, 2024. Leap day! Everybody was so nice at checkout, the gentleman put my basket away for me. Don't forget to sign up for the rewards, it's just with your phone number! After so many points you do earn a $10 off reward! And you can increase that reward by donating bags or boxes of clothing or whatever you have to donate!”

“I don’t even live in MN and I still think this shop is amazing. They take such great care to ship packages complete with person treats and notes. Shop small at this favorite place of mine to support! 10/10!”

“A wonderful consignment store, well-organized and curated. Molly, the owner, is so lovely and talented. I shop here so frequently, it is now a rare day when I'm not wearing at least one item of clothing or accessory from Encore. I get clothes I'm excited about for a great price, and know I'm reducing my carbon footprint by buying used.”

“It's an excellent place to fix your clothing. I took my purse and down jacket (both had some zipper issues), and after that, another store wanted to overcharge me. The two young men working there were amiable, and they took a look at my down jacket and were able to fix the zipper in 5 minutes. As for my purse, I left it there for about a week, and they called me when it was ready to pick up. I was thrilled with the result, and the fees were very reasonable. I think it would be a good idea to repair the lair. Good job, and Thank you.Update as 03/2024:I used their service again recently. The rate has gone up, but it's understandable. I took a winter extra-long jacket to replace the zip. They were able to fix it in a few days. They have moved to a new location, but the service is still on the same stand. I recommend them.”

“The vibes in this store are immaculate! Their used records are also sorted which is a huge plus. Selection can be more on the pricier side in comparison to other thrift stores since it seems like they want to keep all of their stuff to look really cool. The person working was also friendly and let us browse the front without any issues. Overall a solid place to stop!”

“A Rare Bird is so special, and we're fortunate to have this shop in Minneapolis. Kelly, the owner, has the most exquisite taste and the shop is always beautifully merchandised with unique things. Always worth a visit!”

“The real gold here is the owner who is some kind of wizard. I told her what event I was shopping for and she quickly flipped through racks and puts 3 dresses in the dressing room (zero of which I would have considered). Every single dress fit like a glove (and the one I ended up buying had no stretch and was homemade). She told me how to accessorize it too which is important because I have no style skills whatsoever. I usually buy second hand very cheap at estate sales, but I was happy to pay retail for this shopping experience that felt like something out of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.”

“This is the only second-hand store that thoroughly helps their customers. They also are the only ones that give me great prices when im selling items!! They even showed me a video on how to operate an item. they're the best!”

“Front of the store has some really great artwork, furniture, and lighting. Pricing system has regular markdowns so with a little patience and luck you could get a great deal.”

“drinking coffee out of a cute lil cup while walking through here is an ideal way to spend a weekend morning. Prices are fair, and the inspiration is priceless. lots of cool things like wooden fish, fiber art, tv trays, random cool vintage fabrics, and all sorts of puzzling kitsch.”

“I can't speak highly enough of the owner's expertise and customer service. She is beyond experienced - hearing her rapidly doing calculations off the top of her head after just looking at a garment is really impressive. She did a rush job on a long dress for me with what turned out to be a tricky fabric/seam.I also appreciate how good of a listener she is when it comes to how you want a garment to fit - I never felt dumb asking about any of my requests and as far as I'm concerned she can work magic.”

“I really wanted to like it more, but the lack of sorting by size is ridiculous. I'm an XL and very few of their items fit and it's too much work finding anything.”

“Highly recommend the Pink Elephant. There are quite a few Vintage & Antique shops in Hopkins, but this is by far the best. Like other Yelpers have mentioned, super friendly and helpful staff. We were looking for vintage glassware for our bar and they pointed us in the right direction. They even offered to keep an eye out when new glassware items come in. Great place!”

“Fashion Avenue has been a source of great clothing for me over many years. I think it is the best women’s consignment shop in the Twin Cities. Everything in the store is consignment, several things appear to have never been worn as they still have original sales tags on them. They only accept items in excellent condition. Every garment item is clean and looks ready to wear. I find many special occasion dresses, shoes, and purses here – and have bought more than one coat or jacket that I absolutely love.Name brands that discerning shoppers look for are consistently here, like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Neiman Marcus, Aknvas, Dior, and Gucci. I also like the brand Soft Surroundings. The owner/buyer has exceptional taste and amazing connections across to get fabulous pieces and offer fair prices. The clothing selection is what draws me in, but I’ve also found just the belt and sandals. great handbags and other accessories. A few men’s items are usually there. This is a great place to shop for one-of-a-kind, better-than-average clothing. The lighting is good for seeing true colors; sometimes I talk my potential purchase to the big front windows where natural daylight helps me make good color matches. They do provide changing rooms. All sales are final – which is important to know when making an “iffy” choice.I like supporting this consignment store and have purchased a gift card multiple times to share the experience with others.Parking can be challenging. Its location is wonderful – nice and central. The staff is also helpful and friendly.”

“Lots of individually owned stalls here, some with sales. On-street parking is easy. Some pretty cool stuff so if you like such places its worth making a special stop/visit. Allow about an hour and don’t miss the downstairs section.”

“I stopped in for the first time in search of some 1970s hockey cards and memorabilia. Cal greeted me and helped with my search. Although I didn't find what I was looking for, I left with a few baseball cards and wax packs that were too good to pass on. A fun trip down memory lane. I'll be back soon to sift through more cards, chat with Cal, and enjoy the cozy shop. An absolute gem of a place.”

“Very cool store. We brought a wicker coffee table in for repairs. They did an excellent job! It did need some adjustments so the glass top would sit flush. They were happy to do it with no extra charge. It's a great store with lots of cool wicker furniture and knick knacks.”

“I stopped in to Antiques on Mainstreet to find specific items to use for shelf decorations, like old books. It's always tough going in to an antique shop with specific needs as you never know what you'll find. Anyway, the store is two levels and set up with individual stalls for each vendor. The basement has a large collection of books but unfortunately they were a bit high for me (although totally fair priced). Good variety of items although it felt like at the moment, they had less decor and more collectibles, broadly speaking. The workers were all nice and offered to let me put my items down while I shopped. Definitely a place to stop by if you're on the hunt for antiques or just enjoy browsing!”

“Overall this store had a nice selection of unique pieces, but the price range may be above the average persons. The largest size that had was a vintage XL (new Large). A nice, clean shop.”

“This is a great place. It has well priced clothing with shirts costing just 6$. Definitely coming back, I’m also considering checking out other thrift shops because of how awesome this place was!”

“The time bomb used to be a favorite stop when I was on this side of town, but under new management, they have leaned towards more vintage clothing then other items they used to carry. Still like stopping, but 4 stars instead of 5 due to less items I care to browse.”

4.3 Superb40 Reviews

“Great place to find that rare item you didn't know you needed or couldn't find other places. Everything from jewelry, art, sterling, furniture, etc. With items always making their way out and new items coming in, this is a fun shop to check out when in the area. Staff is friendly and helpful, parking lot available out front.”

4.3 Superb27 Reviews

“Well curated space from different vendors. So if one section isn't doing it for you, move on to the next. I'm here at least once a month because there are always new old things to find!”
