“My son (11) and I have taken several glass classes here and loved them. Most recently, we took a marble-making class with Wynston. He is an excellent teacher, explaining and demonstrating each skill that leads up to making the marble and giving plenty of time and support to practice each skill before moving on to the next. Everything you need is provided, and glass is such an interesting and fun medium to work with. They also have a gallery space showcasing a wide variety of incredible glass works, many for sale, from small ornaments to large sculptural pieces.”

The caterer they recommended was FANTASTIC, and the venue is just gorgeous! Ample parking, great spaces and beautiful design. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough for any event!”
“Everything about this is amazing - aside from finding the entrance! Finding the hidden alley and entrance was a little confusing, as Maps tried to send us into the garage of the tire shop next door.
Access to all of these tools for the community for a nominal fee is amazing. I love living in this city where we all take care of our neighbors!”

“I recently had the opportunity to take the Power Tools 101 course with Meena and had a great experience! The course taught the fundamentals of planning out a project as well as safety precautions when using woodworking power tools (joiner, table saw, router, jig saw, miter saw, etc.). Meena was amazing and created a very supportive and calm environment for the class which was greatly appreciated.
Additionally, the organization was very accommodating for those with limited mobility and make it a priority to provide access to woodworking for all. For reference, upon registering for a course they offer an opportunity for you to outline any potential areas of accomodation.
I have already registered for another course and look forward to returning!”

“Here to attend a medical seminar. Table seating in main area with breakouts to many rooms to listen to a special speaker on subject. Main room stage to listen to main speaker and eat. The natural light coming thru beautiful windows. Racks to hang coats. Told there was over 300 people. Bathroom never became over whelmed.?Lucky to have valet parking as it would have been hard to park in other areas for us.”

“Amazing organization working wonders for those with disabilities. We were so impressed with what they can train dogs to do, and the heartwarming stories of all the lives they have changed. We decided to volunteer to help foster dogs and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff helps make the process very easy. We strongly encourage anyone who loves dogs to learn more about the organization!”

“CAA has been advocating for animals since 1998. Aside from regular fun events and meetups, they also host the enormous Twin Cities VegFest (typically held in September) and organize the Vegan Chef Challenge, which gets restaurants to be creative about adding vegan options. The Twin Cities and Minnesota are fortunate to have CAA thriving and advocating!”

“As a student nearby, I love this place!! Super cute clothing and jewlery. Everything is very affordable. I love my punch card & student discount. The only things are to 1) plan ahead, they don't have extensive hours and 2) don't be afraid to holler for the staff when needed, since they usually stay in the back room!”

“Father's day open house is always a nice time with the granddaughter. Static displays of old war birds and other aircraft, fire trucks, ambulance, bouncy toys, snow equipment, plane or helicopter rides, waffle breakfast had a line hundreds of people long.”
“Staff are appreciative of donations of clothes and household items for the center. On one occasion several men who were waiting to enter for services helped me to unload things and thanked me for donating. I like donating at Marie Sandvik’s, because unlike Good Will the CEO does not make a huge salary.”
