“Both Kevin and Brad have continuously gone out of their way to ensure we are well equipped with whatever our needs are from our local hardware store. If they don't stock it they order it and this is really remarkable service that we have never received from the big box stores. Its so refreshing to walk into a store where you are greeted often by name and offered assistance by any of the associates.”
“Having a hardware store this close has been an absolute game-changer for us, living on Minnewashta Park. This is the closest hardware store I’ve ever had in any home throughout my life, and it’s been incredibly convenient. Every staff member is exceptionally friendly, no matter when I visit. They always make me feel important and genuinely cared for – it’s the little things they do that make a big difference.
Josh, in particular, always ensures that what I need will actually work. I’ve never experienced this level of care and attention in any hardware store before.
For anyone in the Excelsior or Shorewood areas of Minnesota, close to Lake Minnetonka, I highly recommend this local hardware store. Their outstanding service and convenient location make it a go-to spot for all your hardware needs.

“We just moved to the area, and needed some stuff for the new house. We've been to this location now over eight times in the last 2 months. We purchased potting soil, peanuts, some clearance items and some materials for the work that I do. One of the things that I love about this location is that everyone goes out of their way to make sure that customers are greeted, and people in the aisles are getting approached and just asking if we need any help. As we're new to the area and also shopping at Ace, the staff have been more than wonderful in leading us to the right areas of the store to purchase the stuff that we need.Can't say enough about the store, the location how clean the store was and how they basically carry everything that you possibly would need for your house.Thank you.”

“This will have to be my new go-to home improvement store. I went in needing very specific light bulbs and some blinds cut. A guy in the lighting department knew exactly what light bulbs I needed and took me to the blinds and cut them. Like, when do you ever go to a store and find someone who can help you find everything you need? Great customer service, I'll be back just for that.”
“Our first experiences buying appliances here. We were looking for a deeper fridge as ours was counter depth. We found a Samsung on line Mega Capacity 31 cubic ft for $1499 that had been $2399 .So on a whim jumped in the car Sunday night 1/28 as they were open till 8 pm The store department serviced by Bill N that night. When we arrived we saw the fridge marked down to $1299! Are you kidding me? 31 cu. ft and designed with handles that allowed us to get a bigger fridge that was in a tight corner and would allow door to open fully! By opening Home Depot line of credit got another $100 off. It has double ice bin making cubes and nugget size; an ice scoop, inside water feature and fingerprint resistant stainless Too good to be true?? Not in this case! Bill was outstanding and got the fridge entered for delivery and completed sale in 20 minutes. It is a stunning sleek French door; double lower drawers and fridge and delivery/install seamless by the crew on 2/2 and relocated our old fridge to garage to use there for just $40. A deal too good to pass up! Bill N charming, well trained and friendly! Thank you Bill and delivery for getting this beauty into our home!”

“Wow, great service! I needed a 10 pound food grade CO2 tank exchange and the brew shop only carries 5 pound tanks. When I walked in the door the guy walked out of the back room with exactly what I needed, apparently he saw the tank as I got it out of my trunk and he went to get it before I even opened the door!”
“This store is absolutely amazing. They have everything you could possibly need for any type of animal except reptile/fish. They have a ton of stuff for hunting and everything you could possibly need for outdoors. They have a large clothing, selection, shoe collection and a nice clearance area. The customer experience is unmatched. I walked in the door and was welcomed with some breakfast samples. Then I noticed free popcorn for customers, which was awesome. They also had a caramel apple station which was also free. Then on our way out after a few hours, we were able to get free hotdogs. I went didn’t expecting to spend maybe five dollars and ended up spending over 70 because of how awesome this place and because of the great deals!”
